wot? if yer replying to me -- i wasn't commenting on your art (you did all this?!) - i was saying: HMM the devil eats too many cakes! and does the ol' manipulation soul-burn-stare
I really like the new version, but I really miss the shot of Satan singing. He was lovely, that Satan. Looks like the old version isn't on YouTube anymore so I can contrast and compare two versions.
Fantastic! I Didn't know Mr Ellard was still working on stuff. Making my top 10 80's song for a game my friends and I play and Dead Eyes Opened it on it, so I got around to this clip via DEO. Last time I saw SH live was waaaaay back at a Rat Party at South Bank In Brisbane before it become Southbank. IT was mini theme park!
This looks great. The Devil has a cool texture to his skin that reminds me of some of Ray Harryhausen's stop motion. While I have a fondness for the original video, this version and the remake of the song itself are excellent. The Mexican Day of the Dead motif on the skeletons shows Uncle Tom hasn't lost any of his humor.
HAHAHA yeah this is a great video.... the added video grain made me think of old effects from certain animated .gifs that were commonly used for forums/chatrooms avatars.
Well done Tom! I have the 'Robot Peep Show' DVD, and this version stacks up quite nicely. I do hope you make it back stateside and New Orleans at some point. I am running for Mayor, and if I win I will definitely give you the Keys to the city sir! Marc Daniel Boudousquie P.S. Thanks for the tunes Post-Katrina; they really sheered up the spirits of all those within ear shot!
your video clips have come a long way now that your have great computer graphics why ruin the sharp HD look with lame old film scratch effects... where is the version with out that over used scratched film effect if I wanna see videos with that I'll watch old newsreels... this is 2009 the age of crisp clear High Definition lets keep it that why. Thanks!
All that for gum disease? And here I thought that you'd just end up getting false teeth. Thanks for spreading the word. I will brush my teeth, I will not go to hell!
This is probably the best electronic song ever.

Will this be on OP 3.14159265?
Could you add fake vinyl sctratches to the audio version so it ties in with the video?
Can I come to Darlinghurst and use your toilet?
Nevermind.

the only problem with you uploading these alternate versions tom?
there's no way to decide which one is the fave!!
it's like having more than one child.. each distinct and unique in it's own way..
how can we split our love!?
and unlike children, you can't sew these together into a new conjoined sort of megakid..
it's kinda distressing
the head is dead.. long live the sevs <3
