i have a 1998 blaster it has the oil injection block off kit, new top end .10 over fmf pipe and power core 2, and stock reeds.

I need help jetting it, does anyone know what jets and clip positing. please let me know if you do. (I have a set of v-force reeds i'm debating on putting in but they arnt in to good of shape.)

the regular header is shorter then the sst header and the two wont interchange, I compared my aunts regular fatty header with my sst fatty and differnt lengths.

aftermarket pipe usually move the powerband up givin you more power so you need more fuel

jetting is changing th size of the jets in thr carb. a jet in the carb is what the gas comes out of in the carb in order to mix with air to get the right air to fuel mixture(in a 2 strokes case, includes oil) jetting makes the engine run better smoother and idle better smoother, all with more power

you dont have to jet it thats just to get maximum power out of the pipe. jetting it just makes it easier for the bike to over heat and blow up.

you sir are a retard and dont know about engines. if you dont jet it, the engine will run extremely lean and the piston will burn and maybe more damage will happen. Please know about engines before you give advice, thank you.

not true, i have a fmf on my 93 blaster, not jetted, runs fine, ive had it on for a while to, i have a modded 95 blaster also, same exact pipes, the 95 is jetted, but the 93 runs and idles nice, but of course the 95 idles better cause of the race carb, check out my videos, i have both of them up there

Yes. You change the air to fuel mixture when you put an aftermarket exhaust on or an aftermarket air filter on too.

u should be able to get any four wheeler brake light as long as it mounts and has the same plugs for the wires, but try a four wheeler junk yard. good luck

Never can make a 1 cyl sound very good but gotta love that ping in the exhaust. Truthfully I'd never spend money on a new exhaust till it rotted out lol. And I'd never buy a Yamaha, No offence to you. Also I see a new york plate on it! NY FTW That's where I am.

Well ive heard that Toomey's are just ridiculaously loud and sounds really good to me, so thats my top choice for sound. I really dont know any others besides FMF and Toomey, everything else ive heard is 4 stroke exhaust.

It sounds good, if you want it to run better start by getting rid of that unreliable oil pump, and mix it @ 32 to 1.I run maxima in my blaster it is very good oil.

Its not street legal, it has the plate and is registered so say if its stolen, its in the files of New York so that when its found, the police know whos it is. Although I do ride on the street, I havent had a cop nearby let alone chase me... yet.

Well you have to realize that some people enjoy a quieter sound , without losing much performance . If you want something that sounds completely obnoxious go check out the blaster kit that Toomey Racing makes , I have a toomey kit on my banshee and I'll be completely honest it's so loud with a 2 stroke it will make your ears bleed . I would definetely recommend the fmf products to the people who enjoy a more quiter performance upgrade .

Well I cant argue about it not being the loudest because I dont know what anything else sounds like. I just got FMF because it was relatively cheap and sounds good. I had no idea how much more proformance it was going to give me too.

It is pretty loud, can be heard up to 2 miles away(on completely flat land). I got this on eBay for $250 and they usually run for $300 +/-.
