Not a bad question, man. The government is going after them, but much of the burden is on the brand owners and also on us. It's true it's not illegal to buy them but it is to sell. The main reason I care is because I don't think it's fair to knock someone off if they created the design/product.

Why should buyers beware if the govt is going after counterfeiters? It's not illegal to own counterfeit merchandise for personal use....
