I would invite people to watch Danedream's win in this year's Arc and tell me if it reminds them of this race. In both races, the winner's acceleration at the end is impressive. BTW, both winners set track records in the process.

THe greatest horse ever !!! far far far far far better than Sea The Stars.

Look at this double acceleration and how he flies when Olivier Peslier asks him to go.

No doubt the horse flies.But, to say he is far better than STS? They are different horses in different eras so very hard to compare. Also, STS won top class races from 8F-12F, Paint Celebre was not that versatile. Overall STS the better animal.

people talk about the greats but hardly mention this horse but he was so like sea bird in that he could lay up with the pace and then accelerate he was an incredible horse
