When I studied food processing technology, we learnt how to use a spray drier. Before drying milk into milk-powder, we had to calibrate the machine to the correct temp by running water through it. One not v bright student placed a hopper under the shoot "to collect the dehydrated water". Minty would have been pleased.

From what I read of Richard E. Grant, he's not a drinker - a teetotaler. However, there was this one role that he did where he had to play an alcoholic so the director asked him to drink a whole bottle of champange to understand what it was like to be drunk.
