there are back up vocals for sure... and you probably think hes not singing well cause your not taking it into consideration that the guitar is playing pretty slow, and hes got a pretty powerful voice when he stresses those notes so he might be having a little difficulty toning it down. hes used to tearing it up, give em a break.
