Russia is not the only country trying this. It's been going on for years. Unbelieveable. I have never herd of this till now. Make me wonder what else the government has been hiding and why. They just went a head with this scheme and have no proof that this wont affect us or the environment in the long run. It will and probably already is. Another reason why I hate the human race.

I have a better proposal for the countries that don't like rain and ice, rather than "cloud seeding" you can use "cloud outsourcing".

Just send your cloud down south to my country Saudi Arabia, the desert people here would love to have some clouds. We are actually praying for some rain nowadays.

Send us any clouds you don't like, don't kill the clouds. We'll accept any kind of cloud. We'll take snowy clouds, rainy clouds, dark clouds, white clouds, any clouds. We are not racist against clouds.

anyusmoon1, another problem with the dust from cement (i.e. local cement companies for example), it has been known to cause cancer in people. It has some chemicals that are really dangerous. An attorney near where I live has contacted us about a cement plant which happens to be in the path of my home has been putting out toxins in the air and is in trouble for doing this and people are falling ill...? Had no idea... Explains a lot!
