@Runermanyoyo A PVR Doesn't give you the ability to move the camera around a recorded games world, and change the playback speed.

All a PVR does is record the game screen.

I'm very disappointed in Naughty Dog for not including a rewind feature. Hell, rewind shouldn't be a feature. Its a freaking requirement. I don't care what their excuse is. It can dramatically decrease the quality of ANYBODIES film.

The file you replay is a DATA file! It is very difficult to replay that!

Example:

Hi. You can read this sentence easily.

This is how the game has to read the data when rewinding. Because it is just taking calculations and recreating where you move and shoot. Even the sounds are recreated. You blow up something, the game makes that noise again because it knows you blew up something. It will be difficult to rewind, but hopefully they figure it out.

You can't rewind in Halo 3. Unless they patched it recently. You can't rewind in Halo ODST as well! What are you on about? You can press left on the D-pad, but that's like a skip back, its not rewind. It's also nothing special as well. And with GTA4, are we talking about the PC or the console versions? I think their is one for the PC version, with that said is it a Data or video file? You can't really compare a PC to a console mate. So, whats YOUR point?

But about what you were previously saying, that's what I meant about rewinding. At least skipping back a few seconds would be better then skipping to the very BEGINNING.

I agree that skipping back a few seconds is better than skipping to the start. But it's not something you can say is great as well, just better. What Naughty Dog should have done is put in one of those time bars, so you can select certain parts to where you can start replaying from. The way that Halo 3 works is that you go back to a certain segment. Also GTA 4 doesn't have that mode on consoles. You can't compare Uncharteds machinima mode to a PC GTA4 mode. PC > Consoles. Simple.

Damn good idea. That could solve Halo's problem as well (fast forwarding forever to where the acting starts). I'm gonna post it in the fourms for the hell of it and see what they say about that.

And yes, I know I shouldn't compare consoles with the PC since obviously PC is better ;)
