The minimalism really fits the song.. they have a lot of this kind of videos don't they?
Low budget or artistic purposes? Either way, I think it makes their videos a lot more interesting. It leaves a lot more to the imagination, I like that.
Also, did they make a PV for almost every friggin' song on the album? Awesome :D
Atsushi just loves his tux's, and I love him in them, lol. I really love the song and I like the way seems like they are summoning something. A bit melodic, slow and kinda creepy, but in a good way.
For lyrics translations, go to livejournal and search for the member 'sparklingai'. She's translated all their lyrics, side projects, and is working on their interviews. No babble fish BS, eather... she learned the language.
I like it more and more the more I watch it. If you are in the right frame of mind and take it on it's own terms, it's realy captivating. Almost like their weaving a spell. Quite posible, actualy. I see a circle, wich is a powerful symbol in and of it's self, and the spinning is like life...movement, the pasage of tyme, cycles.... the beams of light radiating through the fog create paterns that move to the center...to the main light wich iluminates them all...
and then when the perspective changes, it's as though the light is rising...and the movement of their bodies against the light resembles the sun gleaming over dark waves... The holding of hands is like a joining in this purpose.... So perhaps it's all symbolic of creation it's self? Amazing video realy...realy makes you think.
Strange. Maybe lyric translations will shed more light on what this is suposed to mean. lol It's a neat efect, though I agree, a bit repetative. It looks like they are playing Ring-Around-the-Rosy, but I don't know if that's how it's intended. That old children's dance is actualy about the Black Plague if I remember right.

Yeah, I think it's one of those albums where they did an artistic bit for almost every song. I have no idea why, though...
Still, I love the low-budget PV style they're exhibiting.
