  • I know this is old but.....who the f**k disliked this video? Idiot.....you cant complain about his form....flawless.....you cant complain about the weight and number of reps.....NFL OL/DT quality.....I mean come on maybe they are complaining about the pixel quality on the video....wow

  • i got up 10 reps at 179 at 17 y.o :)

  • No lockout = no rep.

  • @hee163 he is going up high enough. if you try it, doing reps like these are actually harder because you don't get the split second break when you lockout.

  • @hee163

No lockout = healthy elbow = can bench more when he gets older = upload a video of you benching 225 for 1 REP before criticizing.

  • half bald from all the roids. good job though

  • that was 42 reps. thats even better impressive

  • stop with the criticisms u fags....prob half of u are scrawny fucks who can even do 1 rep on 225 so recognize this mans hard work

  • very very impressive but i'd really like to see bodyweight repout with full reps NFL style but still this is insanely impressive way more than i could do!

  • @muzimuzi lol nfl style? you mean where they use their chest as a trampoline?

  • Any way you slice it, this guy is strong as hell.

  • no lockout=no triceps. not saying this isn;t impressive but you are not doing a whole lift

  • I hate guys with short arms and barrel chests! gahhh!!!! :)

Nice job though, makes me jealous.

  • coool!!

  • If I bounced off my chest and went about 2/3 of the way up i could do about 25 reps, but if I do correctly I can do about 15 reps at 225 with a bum shoulder. I stick to dumbells, they are easier on my shoulder for some reason.

  • shut up

  • you short people with short arms have the advantage. especially when YOU DIDN'T FULLY EXTEND. I say about 30 of those count. Still a good job.

  • WOW

  • Awesome!

  • Dat was beautiful.....Im 26 and not even close to dat level yet. Im only 160 lbs, 6'1 but i wont use weight as an excuse. Id like to do 40 reps at my body weight

  • imagine how his chest felt, Ive done 225x13 and my chest felt super blown out

  • 40 is OL rep range. dude is strong

  • His lockouts were only like 1-2 inches away anyway... I give him credit as full reps!

  • How tall are you?

  • 5'5" lol

  • Hey i'm not saying this dude is not strong. My comment was not to him but someone saying half reps are harder than full reps. I shoulda just lol and watched the next video : )

  • pumps are better for body building. Yes you can do more than if you locked out, but who gives a crap. Nice lift dude.

  • even though they weren't full reps, i'd like to see someone else his weight imitate this. Freakin awesome amigo

  • BEASTIN IT OUT THERE! Good Shit!

  • Fuckin' crazy.

  • Thats very damn impressive. You rep more than most nfl players

  • @mugen45

nfl players lockout out every rep but nice try though

  • thats my brother. you haters are douche bags ive seen him do this personally. its amazing so shut the hell up!

  • Thanks. My younger but bigger brother....LOL... Taller I mean...

  • actually, it is much more difficult to do half reps, or speed reps. because you are not able to lock your arms you don't let the muscles stop contracting. this makes it so you have to use your support muscles with the chest simultaneously.

  • You dumb ass, I can believe you even took time to type that shit, half reps dont burn your arms out like full reps and they are way easier, that is why ppl do them, nothing against the lifts in this video, keep lifting and stay strong.

  • Nice job! Please tell me that you have a bench press workout available..

  • I can do it properly for 42 reps before I press 450lbs. That was 7 months ago @ 179 lbs. Im up to 465 @ 179 lbs.

  • good but u hav to go higher man

  • can you lock your arms out on those reps or no?

  • Yeah you can lock your arms out but this was just for fun. I train for this. This isn't a hobby but a passion. To better understand watch Sedrick Ellis on the bench press at the NFL combine. He does 34 reps and it would HURT me to bounce it like that.

  • How many reps can you do with a full range of motion?

  • 35 with a slight pause at the top. Watch some of my other videos and you can see with the 465 I have it locked out for a few seconds and its very close to the reps you see here. Look and let me know what you think.

  • please could you tell me what to do cos am bout 170lbs i can bench 225 for 6reps but ma aim is to be able to bench 120kg for atleast five reps ma max for 1rep is 110kg.....please give me tips cos i actually dont wanna get bigger but i wanna get stronger in d bench press..........

  • nice dude, I hit 225 for 34 reps and 315 for 12 reps all reverse grip. Keep pumping baby!

  • what does reverse grip do? will it increase your normal bench? how much prercentage of you normal 1RM will you get doing reversse?

  • Reverse uses more tri's and less stress on rotators. Yes it can help regular grip as well. I actually do more reverse than regular grip.

  • Uses more triceps, like a close grip bench. Also uses different parts of the chest, feels like more upper for me, but i could be wrong. You wouldnt do 1 rm for reverse, for strength I like to do 5 rep sets and for hypertrophy 10+

  • very impressive, I also have tried this check out Chris Hilse

  • Fake..........that's a compliment..great lifting dude!!!

  • wow.

    Fucking a dude.

You are aware 90 percent of the NFL cant do this rite?

  • more like 30% i'd say

  • hes right

most NFL players range btwn 15 to 35 reps

over or under this range has been really rare

reggie bush only pumped 24 reps

vernon gholston- a true MONSTER- benched 37

reggies bush's team mate lendale white only did 15 (he had a leg injury though)

  • very good job... extremly hard to do that many reps

  • Extremly nice work... anyone who have tried this knows how extremly hard it is... Have done 30 reps myself at 100kg or 225

  • Nice lift! I weigh 165 and my bench has been stuck at 225 for 78 or 8 reps for about a year. How can I get over the hump?

  • do 3 sets of benching start off with 225 do 8, then increase ur wiehgt, i usually add 20 pds ( 2 tens) then the last set u add another 20 pds, u should have a spotter cuz the last set u shouldnt be able to do like 4 o 5 of them, if u push hard an ur spotter doesnt help alot youll be over ur hump in a week or 2

  • Phillip... YOU ROCK!!!!
