i know... its sad, but i played the Max Payne 1 & 2. i was so Hyped about the game and my computer got formated, Redownloaded the games and i havent played it any more :( well. My theory about this is the thing that i have only the first difficulty since i have not played the game... so if i play the game i dont feel so rewarded as i would be playing with the hardest difficulty to get the ultimate challenge. u know what im saying? sry it was a bit stupidly explain

@Kaljaukko Add "-developer" as an argument to the shortcut, and you can select any difficulty you want. Be aware that you will also be able to save without limits, so the best thing might be to add developer, start a hard game, then save and remove developer again before you continue so you are not tempted to save too much.

The movie was actually quite good. I don't wanna see a re-enacting of what I've already played. It strayed a little with the representation of Valkyr, but not too far. The games already felt like beautiful noir movies. The only let-down was Wahlberg's terrible acting in too many scenes.

Good! You have two great games to look forward to. Yes, the classic Max Payne is modelled after Sam Lake, Payne 2 Payne is based on the face of some actor/model. Regrettably, James McCaffrey, who is the voice in both games (and actually looks a lot like payne) is not modelled or used as the actor in the movie. And yes, the dreams are scary and the mazes in them are incredibly hard when you don't know the answer to them. But you could use the good ol' "always choose the same direction-trick".

so how long did it take you to think up the lyrics?

The very first line I thought of was the one with lotion and slow motion. Quaker/maker was also an early idea. I wish there was more sections like those in the song, since those lines were easier to make for some reason. Probably that the amount of syllables was closer to "normal" compared to the rest of the song.

Not that long, actually. Epecially when compared to the time it took to make the other aspects of the video.

One night I came up with the idea and some good lines I liked to have in the song, and continued to think of good lines for an hour or so before I fell asleep. The next day I organized my thoughts more and started finding some source material while thinking of some more lines. The day after that, I completed the lyrics and started making the video.

That is one funny song made up from the theme,lol. So true what you say about the movie. I liked it, but it wasn't as scary as the first game, plus it was more drama than action, and some game characters weren't even in it, although Vinnie's surname was visiable for a breif moment on a neon sign.

I actually thought the movie Max Payne got the main parts out of the 10+ hour game and adapted it well to the screen.

Glad someone liked it. I thought it was sub par. They would have been better off copying the movie exactly (Stephen Klancher's story run lasts about two hours), or gone with a completely different story, but in the familiar setting. I thought the Hitman movie, even though not completely true to the games, came out pretty good. But Payne.. not so much.
