You've made an insightful observation, intheTea04. The game's gravitational physics is to the effect of "skating on grass".

But, I've gotta say, the fizzy effect is just about the only peeve I have about FIFA presently.

I must have hit the wall with Winning Eleven '08—the sole reason for my purchase of a PS3 console back then. Awful to the point of being painful. Grief drove me beyond the not-so-green pastures; experimentations with FIFA '09 began.

I never saved anything for the swim back.
