  • Good set. Three 45s and a 35 on each side? That's decent weight.

  • Nope, sorry: you've got more on there than that. It's not easy to see the plates outside the 35, though. D'oH!

  • very safe and effective machine to go heavy and keep tension on pecks. I go up to 4 plates each side. As David Henry states, "that would be 180 lbs". Most people add up all the weights on both sides. You wouldn's say you have a 200 lbs DB press with 2 100 lbs DB.

  • No, it's whatever the total is, just like with a barbell. Y? Because you don't have to balance the weight as much on a barbell or hammer as you do with db's. On a hammer, if you think you do 180, you say 180 a side.

  • @bigpopsonswoll

    haha

  • This one guy said he injured himeself on this...i dont see how unless he was way over his head in what he could really do. its a smooth movement.

  • yeah i know right, these things are so much safer than benchpressing, hell if you can't lift it just let it down

  • I used the Hammer Stregnth Incline machine for the first time today and it felt pretty good. I'm more of a free-weight person, but I think that machine could be particularly effective for the upper chest.

  • i love hammer strength machines

  • hawt :P

  • lol there wasn't a chance i was getting that up.
