  • hey i know the most effective way to defeat any type of martial arts! its so effective it shits on any type of violent fighting technique! its called 9mm, it comes in a box (you need to get your background check) and it's effectiveness is assisted by metal things and when you put them together and flick your index finger it can devastate any threat in your horizon! you should give it a try sometime, but don't use it in school, its so deadly it will get you more than a suspension.

  • @leeonr And we can play this stupid game all the way up to thermonuclear bombs. NEXT!

Although just to bring it up, marksmanship is a martial art, since martial takes its root from "Mars," the god of war. It means "Art of War." I guarantee a cute little 9mm isn't going to beat a .338 Lapua Magnum from 1000 meters away. Plus I bet you can't shoot. And you're 12.

  • @PastTheEventHorizon i'm too tired to play. go play with somebody else

  • @leeonr It's not very nice to start a game like you're the world champ and then bug out just because your lead-thrower can't even hit something across a football field and your grasp of language is about as strong as the grip of a hand with nothing but pinky fingers.

  • @PastTheEventHorizon my troll game is is strugglin i admit, i really should retire

  • where's the gumshield?

  • i hate nike

  • Y U no use hand to block!?

  • @jasonk2210 Because it isnt allowed. Besides, in the heat of that match I would be too shocked to even block. Seeing a kick like that will stun you, before you even try to block, impact occurs.

  • @LigerDeath546 Are you serious? you aren't allowed to use your arms to cover your head???

  • @jasonk2210 Nope! Either dodge that kick or get hit by it. You can punch though, but it doesn't score points or anything. Those spinning kicks are fast, can come out of nowhere, and the spin confuses you. That is why so many people get hit by it. They're either stunned when the opponent is kicking, or just can't dodge it. No hands to block.

  • @LigerDeath546 you are aloud to block its just not practical to do in a sparring match like that, its more about speed and technique

  • holy shit!

  • Yeah! I even don't understood any kind of word! xDDD

  • Super Like..!! we need some more Videos like this,,!!!

  • chuck norris trained under a korean master ! TKD FOR 5 YEARS. how else did he get he's kicks, it wasn't from karate !

  • @nebtan1 didnt chuck norris train from bruce lee? he is american/chinese..

  • @convers0211 Well you see Bruce Lee learned his kicks from a korean tkd master and also Moamed Aly learned how to punch and thats about it :P

  • @DTPoXxiao watch?v=Y2yfoM04a6c&list=FLnUg24UZst3UYhzhnXDZwqA&index=33&feature=plpp_video

  • @nebtan1 Not TKD, Tang Soo Do.

  • @nebtan1

Tang Soo Do - Which is basically TKD and Shotokan karate.

  • @nebtan1 who says no kiks in karate? mawashi geri; yoko geri; soku geri... i could go on?

  • @nebtan1 tang soo do , grandmaster pak look it up

  • @nebtan1 Go and read the history. ALL the first TKD masters since 1944, where karate shotokan black belts, when chuck norris trained at korea base, taekwondo still was karate like, and even the forms were the same from shotokan, with the time, they change technicals aspects to create a new and different art (now sport and not more than that). Some master like Choi and Hwang Kee (Tangsoodo Moo Duk Kwan, the chuck norris style), where disagree with the new changes and keep apart.

  • @nebtan1 Kicks? You realize TKD is under 100 years old. TKD took kick from various other martial arts. Karate has the same kicks as TKD. As does most other martial arts even sports like kickboxing. I trained TKD and I like it, but people need to stop giving TKD all credit for kicks. It is mainly kicking so that's why it seems that way.

  • @DawgFL the schools and their masters that allied and formed modern tkd are much older than 100 years old. tkd is basically an accumulation of many east asian martial arts(most notably karate) fused with what remained of korean martial arts. tkd also completely changed the dynamics of all its kicks using chambers, different foot positioning, combinations, stances, etc. you also need to recognize that for example a round kick in karate, muay thai, and taekwondo are all different

  • @ttam142 Yes they are all "different" kicks, but EVERYONE kicks differently!

  • @DawgFL not my point. i meant different kicks as in the technique for a muay thai round kick compared to taekwondo for example are completely different. kicks look similar but theyre not. what people are giving tkd credit for is not just their kicks, but the way they kick and how they use their kicks.

  • @ttam142 Yes I know, I did TKD for 2 years, and doing Muay Thai right now, sorry I forget what this conversation is about. I don't even remember what I said in the first place.

  • Tang soo do and Tang su do is the same damn thing... Because the spelling is Korean... I don't need to be nit picked over spelling of a non English word that is spelled by sound to begin with.

  • I love everyone who supports TKD especially people that knows how to implement into street fights, I got my first poom when I was 11 hard ass dedication , for all you asshats who don't know what it is; it is 1st Dan (degree) black belt but for people under 16. And everyone who is going with MT need to stop underestimating TKD fighters sure MT is close and mid range striking moves, but have you ever been hit with a defensive "fancy kick" ( which is happening in this commercial) one twist when th

  • @AdamisSoKool I agree. I'm tired of all the "Taekwondo is useless in a street fight, you never use kicks when fighting on the street".. What is that bullshit. Why wouldn't you? You have longer range, more power and the large variety of kicks (If you know TDK that is..)

  • @garrysman thanks for the agreement :P i just taught a friend who is a red belt the efficiency of using the back-stance in a street fight, the defensive/offensive stance used for TKD it is amazing.

  • @AdamisSoKool I respect all martial arts, I am Korean and have trained in TKD and now training in MT:

    1. TKD is very fast, explosive, deceiving (hard to know what kicks), large variety kicks. But takes very long time to get efficient enough to use it in fight.

    2. MT is simple, strong strikes, much faster to learn. More effective in fights. Tons of hardness training, and power and strength training.

    3. However, I see TKD guy who is strong and planted and MT guy who is lots of kicks and fast

  • So what's Nike's point here? The gal who got kicked in the head was also wearing Nike....

  • @fatbug tht nike is just a big contradiction lol

  • Tae kwon do = Deado and Kwon

  • TaeKwonDo = Adidias

    Kung Fu = Nike

    Karate = Century

  • @javcracker taekwondo = Kwon

  • Comment removed

  • that was fucking awesome!!

  • Comment removed

  • awesome...

  • chinese ugly

  • More useless than that Brazilian dancing garbage.

    More like Taekwondon't.

  • @PubliusAfricanus

Whoa whoa there guy, This commercial has nothing to do with copeira, So please, Don't bring it up. and as every martial artist knows the fancy stuff is just for movies and commercials, The real stuff is pretty damn brutal, I've practiced both TKD and Capoeira, I still practice capoeira. So If you're a martial artist I just ask thaat you respect every martial art as they come.

  • @Kambridgestuntz

this so called fancy stuff is art... hence the term martial art.

most of the practical stuff i see on ufc/mma seems like a defense and offence training, rather than art.

anyways can the uploader please fix the typo in the name? i mean c'mon, you wouldn't say "boing" instead of "boxing" right?

  • i totally agree with the top comment, seriously people stop saying our kicks are so "fancy", its basically the same concept in every fight, you wont do a move that's not necessary. as a fighter i know for a fact that anyone with enough experience know when to do a move, when to punch, kick, do a takedown etc... and we tkd fighters know when we should do the "fancy kicks", where not dumb -_-' we know how to fight hand to hand and combine that with kicks, it just depends of the fighter not style

  • NIKE TAEKWONDO. Not NIKE TAEWONDO.

    This missing letter "K".

    KKKKKKKKKKKK

    RSRSRSRSRSRSRSR

NIKE TAEKWONDO . E não NIKE TAEWONDO .

    Esta faltando a letra " K " .

    KKKKKKKKKKKK

    RSRSRSRSRSRSRSR

  • woah woah whats with the hate? some of the most athletic fighters are tkd fighters! ya its a family sport! but there are some real badass fighters in tkd! just like any sport or martial art.. your gonna have people that are really good and some that are not so good.

  • WTF !

  • @MetalMusicMaikel Well shit, I didn't see this coming..I can't shoot you over the internet can I?

  • @MetalMusicMaikel Say "what" again. Say "what" again. I dare you. I double-dare you, motherfucker. Say "what" one more goddamn time.

  • crap!

  • YOUR FACE!!!!GODDAMMIT!!!!

  • Pues si que suelta polvo el traje

  • @MetalMusicMaikel what ?

  • bitch eat my foot

  • 是吳靜鈺嗎?

  • i never knew TKD was sponsered by nike...awesome :D

  • @MetalMusicMaikel my friend is a professional fighter, so is the taekwondo guy ... but the taekwondo guy had his hands low the whole time, easy peasy

  • @firdaus125 So you actually believe if a taekwondo guy were in a fight we would let his arm rest?

  • LOL, my friend from muay thai fought a taekwondo dude, kicked his ass badly

  • @firdaus125 Nice to see that you don't know that its not the martial arts, its the person who's using it. If you don't act cocky and stay focused anybody could win.

  • taekwondo is fucking lame

  • @firdaus125 so is your life

  • @Ioriyaotome muay thai no. 1!

  • @firdaus125 rwally, have you even tried it??

  • Actually TKD is just like any other art or style you just realize whats effective in it. I boxed and have a 2nd degree black belt and trained for 15 yrs. Its effective if you know how to realisticly use it. Fancy kicks have a place anything in a fight can be effective given the right circumstances. I also know from experience tkd save my life a few times once that involved a gun at my head Not every style is perfect but there all good if you know how to properly train

  • @TaeTaeDo part 2... you have to realize that *REAL* Taekwondoist knows when to change gear.. to sport and fighting in real life.. for example me.. i practice many martial art but I like to represent tkd.. anyways this is my 1st martial art.. good and deadly strikings.. fast and powerful kicks! DONT GET IT WRONG DUMB FCK!

  • @john Why speak on something you know nothing about? Do you have any kind of crediblity? Idiot.

  • I've been hearing the term forever, and I guess I just don't get it, so somebody help me out please. What is a "real fighter"?

  • I don't really understand why so many people talk about street fighting when they watch TKD or another martial arts sport.

We do sport guys, we do just like any other sportsmen, high level fighters don't think about street fighting but think to improve themselves in sport.

When we fight in the ring or mats we think how to win but to win street fight is just to avoid it.

  • My dad's master thought bruce lee is taekwondo kicks :)

  • @Fallen3145 bruce lee learn all kinds of things from many many ppl in the world

  • @DarthMaffin Yes I do practice martial Arts. I took TaeKwonDo for 8 years and loved it. I do not praise TaeKwonDo because I studied it, but their kicking control is amazing. I try to tell people that martial arts is not about just kicking and punching, but a way of thinking and living. There is a philosophy behind martial arts and people don't see it. It is good to see someone else who appreciates that.

  • @SuperBluepurple...I did not say that Bruce Lee ONLY uses kicks from TaeKwonDo.

I for one will never say one art is better than another. There are pros & cons of every art and he understood that. He studied Korean style martial arts and incorporated their straight line kicking style. He took kicks, punches, blocks, throws, counters, and etc. from all styles. He used the best of the best. Martial arts to Bruce was a way of thinking and living and I feel the same way. I am FAR from arrogant

  • @Pamphile05 Agree!! I though everyone how is watching matrial arts videos on youtube wouldnt understand that but finly is there someone how understand. It is not the style it is the fighter. Are you a fighter or practise some kind of matrial art?

  • @superBluepurple...I never said that Bruce Lee ONLY uses kicks from TaeKwonDo . I for one will never say that one art is better that another. Every art has it's pros and cons and Bruce Lee understood that. He studied The Korean style martial arts such as Hoo Rang Do...Tang Soo Do...HapKiDo...and incorporated their straight line kicking philosophy. He took kicks, punches, blocks, throws, counters from all arts. Bruce Lee was great not because he studied gung fu or wing chung....

  • Um...are they smiling?

  • ¡/watch?v=rO33ZK0Lzm4

    mirenlooo!! esta muy buenoo

    an amazing video

  • como se llama la rola

  • martial arts isnt just about fighting. Besides, a fight on the street is different than any boxing kick boxing or MMA match of any sort. There are always weapons and different situations. street fights are rarely ever 1 on 1 and the ground could be snow for all you know with rocks that can be used as weapons.

  • get it straight tkd is korean not chinese

  • @eggystk They are saying chinese in the comerical

  • @eggystk it was for the bejing olympics... -_-

  • more...the red helmet one, in my opinion, is really cute, and hot too!!

  • Taekwondo was discovered by koreans... and why r chinese women doing tkd in this video? :S

  • @yoonjae108

    must be a troll...

this is obviously a commercial about olympic tkd, which has both male and females of many nations competing against each other.

  • @yoonjae108 because it was a Chinese ad representing the Chinese Olympic team. And they are some of the best TKD fighters in the world.

  • Is there a relation between little kids in China, Indonesia and Thailand making Nike products and Taekwondo?? Nike + working kids + taekwondo = Nike sucks!

  • ...nike armor is kind good, but adidas is better

  • @Emofallen99 they were women?

  • jeez those women are very unattractive

  • @megamanrxs I disagree...I would love to meet one of them and play with her!!! :-)

  • que feo peto nike = a Tae kwon Do , Aja..!!!

    buuu, mejor adidas...

  • how come there is so much powder?

  • naaaa Taekwondo = Adidas hahahahah

  • Lol, what are u arguing about, bottom line is, meet one of those guys in the street and get into a fight with them. YOUR SCREWED.

  • 0:06 looks stupid

  • You cant use Nike Head Protectiors ... They Ain't Certified.

    I Prefer mooto

  • nike? boo

  • ouch... hello concussion heh

  • lol i never knew u get points for a kick in the face, i thought only head lol

  • rules changed, they wanted to make tkd more interesting to watch so they made the rules a tad bit more violent

  • @RenegadeRoller Yeah. 2 points for spinning kicks to the body and 3 points for head shots. OUCH!!

  • Head: 3 points

    Body: 1 point

Spinning kick to the body (Tornado Kick/Back Kick/ Spinning Hook Kick : 2 points.

Spinning Kick to Head: Still only 3 points

  • on my last promo

i did a jumping turning long kick

    i was only a 2nd brown then :)

  • Nike gear sucks.

Adidas is still the best in taekwondo :D

  • I actually perfer Mooto...

    over adidas and nike

  • To each has its own bro.

  • ITF, WTF, ATA, WhateverTF, forget all of that. At it's base and it's basics it's all Tae Kwon Do,and if you have a good master or good instructor, I'm pretty sure they're going to tell you that there's a major difference between sport and life right off the bat.

  • Sad how everybody think Taekwondo is WTF, ITF is the real thing, WTF is just a sport

  • well wtf is the modern taekwondo style. i think its more than sport, its an art, too, but that of course depends on the master!

  • Well yes, i agree

  • I want to see the new rulz of TKD for coming! yea!

  • It is, body shots one point head shots 3 points

a spinning kick to body is 2 points, and head is still 3 points

there are no 7 point gap rules

    and no 12 point sealing

  • nah 2 points head and 3 for face

  • no man, my instructors said head and face is same thing. they are national level athletes, and world level. Look up Johnny Nguyen, his profile is jdubasutkd

  • but ur right about the other things such as no more 12 point ceiling and 7 point gap

  • i think the can survie quite long, my taekwondo master is a former thai boxing asian champion^^

  • How long TKD expert can suvive Thai boxing expert in the ring?

I never saw any TKD kick

    snap knees or break ribs

All I see is their painful face when their kick been block by a harder Thai boxing leg

    is that true?

  • Because the competitions don't give points for power as much for the smacking of the hogu (Chest protector), it is a point based sport, but brut force is allowed if needed. Master Dennis White broke three competitors ribs with a cut kick (A snapping side kick) for the US Nationals in the 90's... Question is, do you WANT to do such damage?....

  • @mikexhotmailcom STFU lol INO ALOT OF TAEKWONDOST IN K-1 ring FUNCKED UP MANY MT PPL... PPL WHO UNDERESTIMATE CERTAIN STYLE ARE IDIOT... In this case your an dumb fckin idiot lol.. how many idiots think MT is the best striking martial art?? lol tons of like u lol.. there are millions of tkdois out there most of them they dont know what they doing.. others can fuck u up and make u like a fckin hypocrite just exactly you are... anyways .. FCK U AND HAVE A NICE DAY..

  • Get it right. Tae Kwon Do stylists know the difference between sports competition and a real fight. No TKD stylist in his or her right mind ig going to start bouncing around trying to throw spin hook kicks or jumping kicks. It would be dangerous and just plain stupid, and they would tell you that. WTF, ITF, ATA, it doesn't matter. In a fight, those kicks will penetrate and snap knees or break ribs. Forget the movies, any martial artist knows the difference between sport and fight.

  • great comment im a tkd competitor , been doing it sinde i was 4 years old and i could agree more with you .

    cheers

  • Thank you very much. I've been in TKD for 15 years, so I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about.

  • Very well said.

  • Thank you very much.

  • @SUPRKIKR lol WHY CANT ALL OF YOU FUCKIN ASIAN HYPOCRATS ADMIT THAT TKD KARATE AIKIDO AND OTHER BULL SHIT IS JUST PLAIN AND SIMPLE BULL SHIT. no one would even question tkd's credibility if their practitioners didnt get their asses kicked by regular guys (not even mentioning real fighters, boxers, wrestlers, kickboxers, etc) THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE YOU JUST DONT WANNA ADMIT THAT THIS STUPID SHIT ON WHICH YOU SPEND YEARS IS COMPLETELY USELESS. IT HURTS TO ADMIT I UNDERSTAND

  • Comment removed

  • @SUPRKIKR cool story bro

  • @SUPRKIKR

Yes, Though if you alwase train in a competative way,

your fighting skills will lack, because you never take in count that someone doesn't stop fighting when you fall or a strike lands.

  • @remon001 I hear you and understand where you're coming from. Contrary to popular belief and the videos that get put up on this site, I know a lot of Tae Kwon Do stylists who do train for the streets, and they're usually very smart about it. For example, they usually aim low with their kicks to take out the legs because they know high kicks are way too risky on the street. Acknowledge it or not, while they may be different, every martial art was created with one thing in mind- combat.

  • @remon001 I'm sorry, I strongly disagree with you. Competitive fighters are always aware of how to engage in real fights. They understand that there are no rules in actual fights.

If we were to go by your ideology, it's like saying that every Olympic TKD fighter can't defend themselves in a proper fight. Hardcore TKD fighters are insanely fast and strong, and are fully capable in terms of fighting skills.

  • For the first time, undoubtedly, in thousands of years of Korean history, WTF founded Suckskwondo and changed the Korean method of fighting and self-defense. It stresses on using the foot instead of the fists, using the tapping force instead of the penetrating power, using the WTF run-around moves to only engage in long-range fighting situation, and fighting with both hands down. WTF Suckskwondo has no practical aspects of fighting and self-defense. WTF? WTF is wrong with those WTF suckers?

  • This form of fight is for sport purpose...It shows form and self control. Lets see you go toe to toe with a TaeKwonDoist. Bet you wouldn't be calling them suckers then. Even Bruce Lee uses kicks from taekwondo. Look at Joon Rhe, Ernie Raes Jr., Herb Perez...They don't look like suckers to me. Watch the movie Best of the Best. If a martial artist of any art masters TaeKwonDo...Their foot work would be fanominal

  • Chuck Norris did Taekwondo!

  • @anonymsomsjutton no bro, he did tang soo do . almost like tkd.

  • @anonymsomsjutton hm... more like karate...

  • @anonymsomsjutton Chuck Norris did Tang Su Do.

  • @buffmedic01 tang soo do

  • Comment removed

  • @anonymsomsjutton no he didnt he did.. tang soo do.. !!!!!!!

  • @Pamphile05 chuck norris did taekwondo and karate and judo

  • @Pamphile05

Yeah, and The Matrix is what kung fu on the streets is really like!

  • @TaeTaeDo WTF is wrong with your stupidity? you sounds totaly idiot.. your comment was 2yrs ago and now im here to educate your dumb bone head.. okay lets make it simple..World Taekwondo Federation teaches Punching, Hand strikes, kicking, self defense, etc etc its about what school you go to.. many school in ameraca focous only on sport BUT! WTFers knows when to switch gear.. for example in real fight.. ill guard up chin down, and empty my mind.. ill protect my self and finish the fight quick
