  • Best HC song ever.

  • Aww yes Ian Mackaye Pre - Douche years

  • listen piccanninni, there was no racism in Oi! you fool. The Oi movement was a split from the right wing skins, as portrayed in Oi lyrics!!! Wake up dough ball, you're embarassing yourself!!

  • Freakin Brian Baker man

  • Back on track people; the musics not too bad. I like this, almost reminds me of Oi! but without the racist bollox.

  • real rock n roll

  • @FuckPunkers Haha fuck Punk it's not about that, NOFX!!2!34$#5%^&!!

  • Punk was a way to screw girls that wanted to look like Modona!

  • @jpmark111 Who the goddamn fuck is "Modona"?

  • punk whats that but an excuse to be an ignorant wanker its just fucking music.

  • Sraight Edge Forever <3

  • @TheAlexus619 ummm no

  • @MrMikespec Why not? :/

  • be quit on "whats punk and whats not " just think for yourself and listen to the music and dont live on other peoples opinions

  • So who fucking hates this economy?

  • Punk is being yourself and being open minded to new ideas, and challenging those who tell you that you are wrong to do so..

I know this is always open to interpretation, and rather than rag on it... maybe that's a good thing. Stimulating discussion in an open manner, including with anger is probably better than listening to the same old shit over and over.

That's how new ideas are shared and spread.

And if you don't agree with me, good for you.. at least your disagreement stimulates discussion.

  • Very cool. I was like four when this was filmed lol. Mad ups to Minor Threat. A band that led to THE Rage against the Machine.

    Mad upz!!!

  • cosaini11's comment was "punks don't have Youtube accounts"

  • Haha awesome asian dude in the crowd.

  • i thought their audience were skinheads but i see only high school kids...

  • THE DRUMMER IS FUCKIN RIPPED!!!

  • I think "punk" is be againts them all, even againts you, but not in a stupid attitude, but wanting to learn and say all you want, obviously say all the things correctly, I mean things that you KNOW that are not stupid and have a reason. sometimes you learn more of your enemy than your friend, even you respect more your enemy than your friends, and somethings you know what do you want when you can fight for it

    sorry for bad inglich

  • This song makes me want to mosh everytime I hear it!!

  • @pi7309 es en serio? "In my eyes"

  • Punk was the last atempt at being earnest in this world. And it failed.

  • what year was this

  • The very discussion unfolding before my eyes under this video says it all. Just as god became unnecessary and passed away, so too, did punk/hardcore. The lot of you are idol worshippers.

  • punk is a lifestyle, not a fashion statement

  • Why can music be like this anymore? Even today so called punk isn't even punk anymore.

  • @terrible99 Plenty of punk and hardcore still exists, you just have to look for it.

  • theres still new bands playing hardcore like this, you just gotta look. check out street justice from san francisco, there pretty coool

  • @redshaftedflicker fuck you junkie fuck!

  • Angry comment about the definition who is “punk” and who is not! Bombastic misspelled commentary about what straightedge really means! Token comment about how music used to be so much better and now we have Justin Beiber!

  • you tell me you like the taste.... yyyep. Ian McKaye probably never tried a Blue Moon.

  • fuck all you little computer nerds

  • yo no one gives a shit what you wear, a punk is'nt defined by what he wears, Punks dead, Hardcore punk isn't, you gotta bunch of old geasers like stiff little fingers and shit trying to cash in, I guarantee there's still a lot of DIY bands out there, bunch of you are just spolied posing mall punks,

  • @elementx2z hahaha me and my band do the old hardcore vocals with all the scream-y news stuff like verse and some death core influence too , total DIY!

  • I only wear an Agent Orange t-shirt with a minutemen bandana hanging from the rear pocket of my Lee denim, cuff rolled over my oxblood D. Martens with the yellow laces and a scowl beneath a close crewcut. Blah, blah... who cares. Just rock and revolt.

  • Uptown 2000 check out there site

  • @TheIllegalKind hot topic isn't the only place to get punk shirts.

  • @wackytabacky44 where else

  • @TheIllegalKind online at angryyoungandpoor(.)com

  • Comment removed

  • @MrDoomsday666 I hear you. I almost tore some scene bitch up because she wore a Misfits shirt. Probably one of the fans who only listen to the Gravefits, but are clueless to the fact that the Misfits have been around since the dawn of Punk.

  • @Felldohfansquirrel lmao wish i was there to help you bro xD ughh but fuck i almost bitch slapped this skank who thought i was emo cause i had a misfit shirt on! its bitches like them that make me lose hope for the human race

  • @Felldohfansquirrel a lot of people who wear band shirts usually only wear them because they think it looks cool

  • @MrDoomsday666 Haha they've been selling minor threat shirts for at least ten years.

  • @MrDoomsday666 Yeah dude, I saw those shirts the other day at the mall. I mean, what's next? Dead Kennedys? Wait...oh shit.

  • @MrDoomsday666 wtf r u doin in hot topic?? lol

  • The drummers abs...=D the singers passion..=D

  • I'm dying to know the date and venue of this performance! I used to see them from time to time when I lived in D.C. (mostly before the head got shaved) and the adrenaline pleasure rush of the occasion grabs me once again every time I see a clip. I just wanna know which one of the pleasure rushes is grabbing me!

  • Punk isn't actually punk. It's just another illusion, like the Buddha!! = )

  • It's actually not punk....

  • @superdaddyo21 Pardon?

  • 783,000 views, that's probably easily 10 times if not 100 time the amount of people who actually saw this band in the day. Detroit 1983 for me with Negative Approach.

  • @JJdoglegg LOL

  • Watch a clip Macaco 12

    /watch?v=3CD5vMECDEo

    Thanks

  • You want to hear a Punk RE-REVOLUTION f***** check out Cerebral Ballzy - "dont tell me what to do" those dudes know what's up.

  • I'm English and i can't stand the Sex Pistols, Johnny Rotten is a stuck up little prick.

i much prefer American hardcore music to UK punk.

  • Motorhead came from the UK and therefore the British win.

  • @HaulinHearse all of motorheads songs sound the same

  • omg, im the 777,666 viewer :o

  • Don't you fucking get it?!

  • You all are so funny ha ha . punk is this punk is that , that is so cloche. the most punk thing you can do is be your self..

  • And seriously, why is there always this fucking, 'this is british' or 'this is american' bullshit????

Alot of great unique sounds came out of the UK, and alot out of the US. Trying to compare the two and suggest one is 'better' than the other just demonstrates how fucking misguided you twats are.

US culture and UK culture are totally different, and that's fucking great, cos that's what sparks brilliant, DIFFERENT, music.

Culture, by definition, is not 'good' or 'bad', just fuckin move on!!

  • Punk re-revolution my arse get a grip the original punk was a reaction to a stale establishment do you really think punk will crush the rolling tide of internationalism and globalisation good luck............ lmao ..................

  • @staygee1 fuck you

  • @staygee1 fuck you.

    we can try.

  • punk wasnt born in the Uk it was born in new york. read something. the british punk bands were just copying the shock value of everything goin on in new york. and mostly really sucked as far as music goes. but if youve never actually listened to them and just like the pictures on the tshirts you wouldnt kno

  • At the end did he say "Theeeee... yesterday"?

  • the california scene is were its at for hardcore ceremony, sabertooth zombie, and migraine and many others were bringn back hardcore bitches

  • Punk music never died. People just stopped jumping on the bandwagon. Music only "dies" when the cling-ons choose something new to cling to. Listen to what you want to, give no fucks.

  • @Pingu616 good shit man

  • @Pingu616 Punk didn't die. It was subverted. Avril Lavigne exists, and you think people aren't on the bandwagon? That's because the bandwagon's being driven by the suits now.

  • @WS1739 That's basically what I said anyway. It's been re-packaged by the people in control of the music industry.

  • @Pingu616 Awesome. We're in heated agreement then.

  • :) i love bread. he showed me this band. FTW!!

  • PUNKS NOT DEAD!!!!!! NEEEEEEVER!!!!!!

  • Shit looks fucking wild. I would beserk in a crowd like that

  • Straight edge is a life choice not of all of us take our ideas and shove them down peoples throats its Not to follow a crowd, But it is whats right for us! oh yeah and i almost forgot MINOR THREAT RULES!

  • I heard a Rage Against The Machine song earlier today. It sounded pretty good at first, then I realize it was a Minor Threat cover.

  • straight edge - punk for gays

  • @misanthropicagenda1 ur gay. strait edge is for true punks that would rather be protesting and standing up for their beliefs than getting drunk. ur probably one of those fake accounts that look up the music you like and act like ur a guy who likes gay pop

  • @dethklok492 HELL YEA DO WORK

  • @dethklok492 Fuck you

  • @kingnat2 No sir. Fuck you

  • @dethklok492 Fuck you INfinity .

  • @kingnat2 fuck your mother infinity

  • Live the same sound like on LP...

  • yeah! fuckin intense!

  • straight edge was cool when i was 13..

  • @KickJazz21

how old are you now? 14?

I'm old enough to see that stragh edge is the right thing for my life, it doesn't have to be cool.

It's just for me, you can do what ever you want...

  • @KickJazz21 cool?..

  • @KickJazz21 if at 13 you have taken illegal substances I highly doubt you are destined for good things. Straight edge is a concept that must be grasped by a mind that has reached some level of maturity; it is a rejection of mind altering substances that in fact are unhealthy and are taken to either "fit in" or "escape reality." no 13 year old is going to be able to understand that

  • Comment removed

  • @conolly123 i made my comment as a some sort of witty remark to those who are making fun of the straight edge thing. i'm not edge myself but i have no quarrel with sXe people, except for those militant dudes, i hate the militant ones

  • @KickJazz2

yeah it was cool when i was 13 too, which was back in 1983, when i saw minor threat play... for the second time.

and i'm 42 now and straight edge is still fucking cool.

by the way the big boys kicked ass at both shows...

  • @xisotopex the big boys! i love that band. i always thought they were one of the best bands out there in their time. i cant really think of any other bands that combined punk and funk so well other than the minutemen and the big boys.

  • Comment removed

  • The discussion is ridiculous. It's the decision of yourself what you do with your life. But the fucking morons are juding about other people. Other guys are pussy because they want to be clean? You boozers are victims of peer pressure and the fucking mainstream - it is you turn what you do - but adjust your fucking mindless brain please. It seems that your brain is destoryed by your fucking crap ... and "hoppaphant" you are human scum, you should get gased :)

  • be a punk and walk alone. not to the tune of some piper

  • @someguyonaskateboard is it a nigger logic?

  • @187wolfgang YOUR CAMPAIN OF FEAR AND OPPRESSION IS OVER deal with it sour kraut. anywho thats off topic, minor threat kicks ass, besides i dont think the nazis want us to sick patton back on their asses

  • @someguyonaskateboard what a answer, btw: Is it also a nigger logic?

  • @187wolfgang

    lol guess so man

  • I still have no idea how you can be straight edge and a punk rocker, they completely conflict each other. Real punkers live the way their music sounds but straight edge kids are like little church choir boys in lifestyle but they play punk music. Bands like this are good but not appealing because you can't smoke weed or fuck.

  • @hoppaphant Well then you are a dip shit with no idea of what punk is or what punk roots are, straight edge started so they could keep the gigs/shows going, people didn't like them and were afraid to have them play so they made a deal everywhere they played anyone with a black X on their hand meant they were not going to drink or do drugs so the show could go on, that is how they got to keep getting gigs, but I am sure you don't listen or know the roots.

  • @hoppaphant straight edge is an diciplin. They want to be as pure as possible and take some distractions from the music like sex and drugs to be one with the music. who do you think can fuck u up the worst: an diciplin samurai who is one with his sword or an drunk warrior that bought an axe just to rape?

punk is about being pure, raw and dont give a fuck. Its not about being wasted

  • Comment removed

  • @hoppaphant The only pussies here are the ones making threats through the internet, since they don't have the balls to say it to a person's face. Grow up and stop acting tough.

  • Comment removed

  • @hoppaphant ? or logic is retarded minor threat were atheists for the fyi

  • @TheDp321 I know this dawg! And so am I and so were the Beatles and so are a lot of people!

  • THE PUNK RE-REVOLUTION IS HERE!

It's time for punk to make a comeback!

Punk has been claimed to be dead, It isn't dead...only sleeping.

But it is time for punk to awaken!

Gangster rap and pop princesses have taken over, we must take back control!

    Fight for your beliefs....

Start a punk bands, Play shows, stand up for the little guy, Protest the system so we can make our mark against it once again, Stand up for your rights, PUNK WILL RISE AGAIN!

THE PUNK R-EREVOLUTION IS AMONGST US!

    GET ONTO IT!

  • Punks not dead, just exploited..

  • @ChainsawDreams Just don't expect a paycheck... or a revolution.

Why bring the outside invalids into punk, let punk remain in the underground for those who truly care for it, instead of bringing it back up to be exploited again.

  • @ChainsawDreams you must be young

  • @ChainsawDreams it won't come back fuel, and who wants to listen to bands these days?

  • @ChainsawDreams

    you are an idiot.

stop imitating what the generation before you did, and do your own thing. dont imitate us. what we did was to create something new, for us, and by us, and no one else. that was 25 years ago.

so, grow a brain, stop being a follower, and do something that is relevant to your generation, and you alone.

dont imitate what a bunch of people did 25 years ago who are now in their 40's and 50's.

  • @ChainsawDreams Sorry to burst your bubble, but posting youtube comments wont change anything. Go to shows.

  • @ChainsawDreams Amen son..actions speak volumes..get off your self imposed house arrest off facebook off youtube off x-box...all that shit categorizes and spies on you to sell you more shit you don't need... go out in the streets and TAKE IT BACK...J Kontra

  • @ChainsawDreams rap is not an enemy of punk, rap is a lot like punk in a way, it was started by people who didn't have a lot of money to buy expensive instruments, it started in the streets, you have no idea how much great rap was made around 20 years ago, but the good rap is never played on the radio, it is the same with punk, the only "punk" you hear on the radio is green day... and the only "rap" you hear on the radios is lil wayne and soulja boy...

  • @TheEnviroFriend True. Hardcore punk/rap music is much alike. The singer of newyork hardcore band "madball" even does a rap act. I used to dislike rap, now im more open to it.

  • @knightfromoutzide my favorite band is rage against the machine, because their frontman could sing hardcore while rapping. sometimes they just did hardcore, sometimes they just did rap, sometimes the did both. their guitarist could make his guitar sound like a turn table.

they did a cover of this song, they opened me up to both rap and hardcore punk.

  • @TheEnviroFriend I FUCKIN LOVE RAGE DUDE!!! THEY'RE COMING OUT WITH A NEW ALBUM! AND I LOVE THEIR COVER OF THIS SONG!!

  • @ChainsawDreams lol no..

  • @ChainsawDreams

some gangster rap is pretty hard

  • @ChainsawDreams how many punks dose it take to change a light bulb?

    none, punks never change anything.

  • @ChainsawDreams it´s dead

  • @domdadon018 Not dead, just much more difficult to find

  • @ChainsawDreams That's no gangster rap. That's R&B hipster stuff. But, I still agree!

  • @ChainsawDreams hey ok i hear ya, but minor threat,misfits,d.r.i. descendts, etc..is harcore not punk, i think its the start of punk but it was harcore it was named after porn, people that wanna say like green day or whatever is punk, how can you even compare this music to that,,,,,THIS IS HARDCORE! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! the other shit is punk

  • @ryanandpatti Punk and hardcore are not two separate things. Hardcore is simply a style of punk. This is absolutely punk. And hardcore punk at that.

  • @cameronbcoleman : Punk was born in the UK. Hardcore was the American answer on punk style.

  • @doctorwhonico LMFAO @ "Born in the UK" Iggy and the Stooges, MC5....Patti Smith....The Ramones. Lemme guess....you were gonna say The Sex Pistols. Again....hardcore and punk are not seperate. As you said, hardcore is simply a style of punk.

  • @cameronbcoleman : Ramones style was copied by The Sex Pistoles.

  • @doctorwhonico lol what?? no ramones were the original, the sex pistols copied richard hell and the voidoids.

  • @deathwish959 (that's what he was saying mate). Why is it the internet makes so many people fucking illiterate?

  • @doctorwhonico Exactly.....and the Ramones were a NY band

  • @cameronbcoleman : And for sure MT is hardcore ! Watch the movie American Hardcore !!!

  • @ChainsawDreams Punks don't have youtube accounts

  • @cosaini11 Labeling yourself or others as "Punks" is fucking retarded. Just get out there and play your music.

  • @cosaini11 21st century digital boys do!!
