now this is were many people don't get the objective........i am a Filipino myself but i think the Poison they are talking is not the dangerous poison we are thinking,it might be the Poison will be imbued to the Blade so to think it will be imbued by the power of Spider or Snake or whatever.....the point is,its like you are fusing an Dangerous Animal in to your blade giving at an effect(if you believe it) that it has a sting of an Animal when you strike.

@Tenkuu ive been makeing an art of forging that dosen kill the poison forging the metal in such a way thats its full of microsopic holes to hold the poison then soaking the blade is a poison mixed with animal fat so it would soak into the holes of the blade and not wash out as easily

It's called ugto-ugto in our dialect in Negros. But its not really that deadly. Its fangs cant really penetrate to the human skin. Plus it wont bite people. I played with them since I was like 2 years old. they cant even fight with other smaller spiders. They're just big, and can only kill a mosquito.
