  • Mabuhay, Leo Gaje!

  • Hey parvis164 who told you that fact? A kid in the school yard?

  • now this is were many people don't get the objective........i am a Filipino myself but i think the Poison they are talking is not the dangerous poison we are thinking,it might be the Poison will be imbued to the Blade so to think it will be imbued by the power of Spider or Snake or whatever.....the point is,its like you are fusing an Dangerous Animal in to your blade giving at an effect(if you believe it) that it has a sting of an Animal when you strike.

  • Historians believe that the origin of including poisonous or dangerous insects into the forging process of phillippine blades was more of a symbolic or superstitious tradition rather than something which would actually poison an opponent. The belief was that the wielder of a blade tempered with remains of a deadly spider would be imbued with the power of such a deadly creature. Not to actually be able to poison the opponent.

  • @Tenkuu ive been makeing an art of forging that dosen kill the poison forging the metal in such a way thats its full of microsopic holes to hold the poison then soaking the blade is a poison mixed with animal fat so it would soak into the holes of the blade and not wash out as easily

  • @Tenkuu I think this is the same area he's in where people are having amulet stones embedded into their skin to stop knives, so I think we can assume it's more tradition and superstition than a real poison blade.

Having said that I'd never be the one to mock a Philippino with a sword about his beliefs, active poison or not I've seen them training :p

  • ...................heating the spider and polishing the blade????? How is that poisonous? It must be superstition

  • dam i didn't know those spiders were poisonous?! i used to hold them and make them fight back in the philippines. and i find it cooler than those brown spiders people always use to fight

  • You better not fuck with the filipinos

  • This is probably only a demo. They probably put the poison after the blade begins to cool. The weopon is truly deadly!

  • in our country when our country some Filipinos bring deadly weapons such as knifes guns home made guns but not all btw i bring my butterfly knife(balisong) once in a week for protection

  • FILIPINO > PHILLIPINO/PHILIPPINO

  • wow rogues were inspired by philipinos..

  • @aznguy11111 Hahaha!... at the "rogue" comment, probably true though.

  • important thing of this video? Means a lot of filipino looks like weak as they appear but don't provoke them or else you gonna get the whooping ass that you're looking for... They got moves that you won't see it coming.. So don't fuck with em

  • poisoned or not poisoned blade, if it hit you solid(it is still the same).. so much for a psychological effect

  • @TheDrew00018 im a filipino. a friend of mine had a drunk fight and they started killing each other with knives when he was hit the man ran away and he went to the hospital, even though his wound is just small he's sight blured and realized that the knife that hit him was poisoned, but he did not die because the alcohol of the beer had slowed the movement of poison through his blood

  • @kenshin9518 lucky basterd

  • I'm not a biologist or physician, but the metal is extremely hot. And I know for sure that if you cook, boil or fry meat, stuff like salmonella dies. Don't you think the same thing happens with poison?

  • @GaolisVideoLog I think the masters purposely did not show them the right way of making the poison, only a part of it... My uncles are cock fighting enthusiasts (sabongero), some owners of these fowl try to put poison into the blades, but they use different poisons, like Cyanide, the heating part shown here is true that I can tell you, it has a purpose believe me; I've seen strong fowls suddenly drop dead; sa tingin ko hindi talaga yun ipapakita sa T.V., kahit mga sabongero sinisekreto yan.

  • dang don't slip up and cut yo seff

  • this was a funny movie for kids to watch. i just finished watching it online at themovieinsider info/kickass its good quality to if any one wants to see it

  • Never mess with us Filipinos!..pinoy rules!!!

  • haha its called negros

    0:24

  • hahaha spiders? give it to me i'll eat it raw.

  • @rekonek sawsaw mo sa suka na may sili at sibuyas saaaraaaap!!!!!

  • kainin mo na lang kaya yung niluto mong gagamba

    *translation*

    just eat your cooked spider

  • LMAO lets have ago lets have ago :)

nonononono only joking only joking xD

  • What a load of bull. The poison gets nullified in the process, this is just a show of bravado on our part but that blade is not poisonous.

  • y cant u just use the sword thingy without even putting poison on it? its like making a poison bullet and shooting thyre head at point blank range and expecting the poison to do its work

  • @amajeet TANG INA SIGURISTA ANG PINOY KASI

  • @amajeet because even a small wound can kill you with the poison

  • No way,it is wrong from the begining! These spiders dont belong even to the dangerus ones but even if you had an Australian black-widow,if you throw it on fire the poison loose its power!

  • All right, very interesting video, but i didn't quite understand how they put the poison "in the blade".. if you know the plz reply:D

  • Some fighters, not the strongest try to kill you by a single cut .

You cut and you re cutted in a real fight , but it can help (well I don' t like the method ).

But If you cook a spider , you just cook it ehehheeh.

He killer innocent spiders for nothing.

the spider is a sacred animal in my culture.why don' t you cook yourself blacksmith?

  • they use acid to mold it into the blade, AND it works, people think if u "burn" the poison it looses its effect, well it doesnt, theyre not burning the poison, theyre burning the whole spider to ash, which is malluable which means it 100% is effective.

  • well I spoke with someone in bacold that know the balcksmith man , he told me what I imagined, a spider into the fire is just dust nothing else.

In Italy we don' t kill spiders( they re a lucky animal "for money" ), and useful they catch mosquitos.

I went to bacold but where is this blacksmith ? do you know it ?

  • Boladas to.. haha... :D panalo talaga tyo sa payabangan ano?...poison blades! Wahahaha!!!...

  • @yehoseff SIGURO AHAS NA LANG

  • pataka raka noy!

  • It aint cool man. What a waste of spider lives due to ignorance and misplaced bravado. I respect and admire the grand tujon, but his ignorance of chemistry and toxicology cast a reasonable doubt on his claims about embedding poison into the blade. Those are garden and field spiders, some of the gentlest ones! Grand tujon, umayos!!! Hooowaaa!

  • yea i noticed he called them poisonous when spiders are really venomous... btw are those spiders even dangerous?

  • hehe negros, phillipines.

  • Spider fighting is a favourite past-time of children in some areas of the Philippines. Those spiders would have earned the catcher a fair bit of money in the spider market in the back streets of Cebu. haha

When we were little my brother ended up in the hospital after one of his fighting spiders escaped and bit him during the night. Ah, the good old days.

  • what kind of spider is that called?

  • It's called ugto-ugto in our dialect in Negros. But its not really that deadly. Its fangs cant really penetrate to the human skin. Plus it wont bite people. I played with them since I was like 2 years old. they cant even fight with other smaller spiders. They're just big, and can only kill a mosquito.

  • tsk tsk.. this is not how its done! my granparents know how!

  • Comment removed

  • @icecrimson yeah you put an entire snake in those blades LMAO

  • not exactly.. but you can use its poison..

  • well it does work otherwise they wudn't even bother to do it DUH, wud u seriously handle a bug that cud bite u in 1 milisecond and kill u in 8 hours just to make something that dont even poison, HONESTLY tho if i had a knife fight, i wud wanna kill the other person in 10 seconds not 8 hours, dam idiots, shudda invented poison sniper bullets

  • @solarbeam555 yeah dude and some poisoned nukes I suppose would pack more punch GAAAGO ka

  • @Kaisertjoji

um i thnk Nukes come with poison anyway, Radiation poisioning, but image if before the nuke landed it fires 20 mini missles that are loaded with chemical poision gas cloud weapons that travel to the outskirt of the blast so when they explode it speads x10 further.

dam my ideas are wasted, gonna sign up with spec ops intelligence i think LMAO

  • poison is made of protein enzymes, the fire would denature them its not going to make the blade poisonous in itself

  • @parvis164 I think they just shown them a demo... but the thing that those masters did had "some" truth into it; My uncles are cock (fowl) fighting fanatics; owners of these fowls try to put poison into the blades just like on the video, only with DIFFERENT POISON, the method shown on the video is partly true, the heating part is true that I can tell you; I think the Masters purposely did not show the right way of making it. you seriously think they would teach people how to use poison on T.V.?

  • It's not fresh poison on it, but small pieces of it, liek DNA & more. but still if it cut's u and u'r blood make's contact with it, u u'll have 80% of poison.

  • Come on man, that stuff would just cook out!!!!

  • phillipinos are nutheads DONT fuck with them they may not look like much...but they re more than capable of handing you over your own ass. Those concestador assholes knew better with there armors and swords and all that metal shit and the phillipiano tribes butt naked with bolos and sticks hehe...DONT fuck with the phillipinos

  • @dpapaioannow lol its funny cause, at school, i tell people not to underestimate me.

  • @dpapaioannow i know your post is 2 years i go but may i correct you in your grammar..........first of all its Filipinos(not Phillipinos) and second its f*cking Conquistador and not Concestador.................minsan respeto naman sa ating Kultura at hindi puro yabang.

  • @luftwaffe789456123 well i use the fucking english terminology so dont get to exited mate... getting all grammar corrector and all..αντε και κλαιν μαιν

  • @dpapaioannow He did use English terminology...

  • did any1 see the episode where there was the martial arts where the guy cud take a person down by shouting at them ?

  • that was cool

  • He got his Ass kicked badly by a MMA guy,do a search, you'll see it.

  • thats sounds cool...where can i find that? is it on youtube?

  • i dont get it how con poison stay in blade WTF

  • It probably can't but its inclusion is either a placebo or a type of psychlogical conditioning.

  • its part of the blade, once dipped in acid to sticks to the blade, kinada like sticking somthing to a wall with really strong glue. (not the best analagy but you get the point)

  • its probably coated. And for most poisons even a drop is extremly lethal and can kill dozens of people. So i doubt they have to worry about all of it staying on. but i would imagine it would stay wet for a while unless it was dried off purposely.

  • People use the poisonous secretions of certain frogs and smear them on darts. Some South American tribes used this and it was considered very effective in killing enemies with ease, I heard this from a person who works at a local zoo.

  • my next knife will have a alien cloking device in it......

  • Ah, the Kryptonite Carver ;)

  • by all means but only clocked(or cloaking device)

  • Amazing

  • how does the poison survive both acid and fire is what i want to know !

  • it doesn't....

  • F'n Hardcore!
