  • Smuggling tropical birds is a crime! Stop destroying the fauna from other countries since you Americans already have destroyed your own.

  • wonderful...

  • this is how my little conure and her sis act!

  • Such pretty birds!

  • Where did you see them?

  • Birds are cool...True lovers

  • I adopted a catalina for a few years, fell in love with these little buddies, He'd preen me too , my ears and hair... it was an amazing experience and I've been really sad about the separation from the bird...... time to get another..

  • What happened to the catalina?

  • It's an ex girlfriends bird, he 's a catalina, but he started to like me way better when I came into the picture. She'd go work on location for 3 months at a time and I'd be his buddy... it was a really sad separation... it was her lack of communication that ended it... and the bird suffered as much as I did.

  • so sweet :)

  • look at these love birds. So sweet.

  • wow! i wish my parrots would do that!

  • These Green Winged Macaws are beautiful. Parrots like to preen each other because preening is a social ritual in the hookbill world. Preening keeps their feather looking great. My parrots sit on my shoulders and preen my hair.

  • their gorgeous

  • Beautyful birds!I vote for you!

  • mynas are the clearest speakers..

  • i dont agree with that

They are the best speakers of all parrots but the green winged macaw are the most intelligent macaws and probably the most intelligent bird whatsoever

  • african greys are better, got better speech and intelligence

  • These are the best parrots of all!

The green winged macaw is so much better as a pet than even the hyacinth and its by far more spectaculer

  • Thats just Awesome!

  • Your video clip is great and I've rated it as awesome. Please see my video clip on a parrot animation and some Victorian trading cards of exotic birds such as parrots, paradise bird, toucan, humming bird etc.

  • That is so cute! One is massaging the other. They love each other and are taking care of each other, much like people do not.

  • i meant google not goggle, sorry!

  • well it should be easy to find out try putting in parrot cost in the search box at goggle. The Macaws pretty much cost upward of 1,000.00 Cockatoos, and Macaws are probably going to be 1,200.00 and up! Parrots are expensive. Sorry I only saw your question today, since you didnt hit reply, i wasnt notified, hit repy to this next time

  • lol srry thanks for the feedback

  • ty really much but i got onother question can u tell me how much is a blue and gols macaw and a unbrella cockatoo plz cause we are thinking to buy one but cant find the rite prices online =S ty really much for replying. and i live in chicago illinois

  • Dear Sharoz4, The price of the parrot is the LEAST of it!! You have to be willing to spend a minimum of 5-8 hours per day playing, interacting, talking to, feeding and cleaning up after a macaw. It is a HUGE investment in time. As far as money goes, the initial cost of mine was $1800.00 ( greenwing) However, I spend about $200 to $300 a month in toys and food. The cage has to be LARGE....mine is about 75 sq. feet.

  • Dear jadenwings, $1800 for a pair? or each? why would u have to spend 5-8 hours per day playing, can't it be less? $200-$300 a month in toys and food? what kind of toys your buying? and what kind of food? I am interesting in breeding these beauties.. for myself.

  • Honestly if you are asking these questions you should not even be considering breeding parrots. The information jadenwings gave you is correct. 1800 per bird for a green wing macaw, they require a constant supply of destructible toys that need to be replaced every two weeks or so. Then there is the noise, the clean up, and the human interaction. Parrots -- all breeds are pretty much the equivaltent of living with a 2 year old human for 40 plus years. They are a serious commitment.

  • I agree I had a cockatiel but he died of a respratory infection. If I ever got one of the bigger parrots(they tend to live longer) I would only get one.

  • Parrots can NOT be left alone for long periods of time. I had a cockatiel and he naver wanted to be left alone, so a big parrot would be even more demanding, if they do not have stimulation they will die.

  • are you kidding me? the animals are increadibly expensive, and they take many hours of the day, you see people that have theirs talking and doing tricks? theyve probably spent a long time teaching them that then rehersing it, so they do it! and their toys, omg, and food its all really expensive, you cant just throw some seed in there and call it good!

  • Thank you, the Green Wing is a handfull. But it is not a chore. We actually enjoy spending time with our macaws...And the Green Wing has got to be the best.

  • coik parrots can someone tell me how much are they ushally? ha-ha second comment

  • Hi Sheroz! Those are called "Green winged Macaws" and they probably cost upward of 1,600.00 one thousand six hundred and up dependent on their age, what part of the USA you live in and if they are purchased from a reputable Breeder or a Pet store. Similar in looks and beauty is the Scarlett Macaw. Blue and Golds are popular too, but the most expensive is the Hyacinth Macaw, the largest Macaw and a gorgeous blue color all over, except for the yellow patch of skin around the eye area.

  • why are they so expensive? ( the Hyacinth Macaw) i mean

  • They are unusual. I don't know if they are rare. Law of supply and demand, perhaps? I don't know, all parrots are abit expensive. Even an African Grey can run upwards of 1,200, if purchased at a pet store.

    Parrots are awesome!

    ^j^ ^j^ ^j^

  • That's so freakin cute! ha-ha first comment!
