If you believe in God then you must believe in science, because science is the key that Allah has given us to fully understand the details of our environment, not to live in a cave all day and achieve nothing. @ihavekankles Because denying God's existence is the greatest sin of all. Besides God's creation, there is evidence somewhere specific. The Quran. It is a miracle in itself. There are so many scientific evidence in it that have only recently been discovered, whereas God revealed it to us in the Quran 1400 years ago. Many scientists have converted to Islam because of it. It is not logical to believe God doesn't exist because nothing, not even science can explain the miricles of life and the soul

'And it is We who have constructed the heaven with might, and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. (Quran 51:47).
The word 'heaven' as stated in the verse above is used in various places in the Quran. It is refering to space and the wider universe. Here again, the word is used with this meaning, stating that the universe 'expands'. This is the very conclusion that science has reached today

@ihavekankles God also revealed 'It is Allah Who created the seven heavens and of the earth the same number, the command descending down through all of them, so that you might know that Allah has power over all things and that Allah encompasses all things in His knowledge' (Quran 65:12)
This verse is confirmed in scientific sources, wherein it is explained that the earth consists of 7 strata (2 Lithopheres of land and water, Asthenosphere, upper and lower mantle and outer and inner core)

'The pains of labour drove her to the trunk of a date-palm. She (Maryam) said, "Oh if only I had died before this time and was something discarded and forgotten!" A voice called out to her from under her. "Do not grieve! Your Lord has placed a small stream at your feet. Shake the trunk of the palm towards you and fresh, ripe dates will drop down onto you. Eat and drink and delight your eyes.. " (Quran 19:23-26)

The date is an excellent choice of food for the pregnant women and for those who have just given birth. This is a widely accepted scientific fact. The date has one of the highest sugar levels, 60-65%, of all fruits. Doctors recommend that pregnant women be given foods containing fruit sugar on the day they give birth. The aim is to energise and revitalise the mother's weakened body.

I never said seeing was believing, you fool. There is no reason to believe in God as there is no evidence, whereas there is plenty of evidence for the man made creation of those buildings. There are photos of people building the Empire state, and there are written accounts of the building of the other two. No proof for God not existing is no argument. There is no proof that there isn't an elephant in your room when you leave the room, but we still don't believe that.

It is a good nasheed which I heard, but we need to understand that we didn't want to mis-used the word Jihad as in showing swords, killings and so for, the term Jihad can be express in many ways and I believe that the nowdays jihad for the Muslim is to lead our brothers and sisters to the enlighten path and also Iq'ra (Read) which is the first verse were brought down our beloved Prophet s.a.w. which is knowledge to returned Allah's path and being his well servant.
