i got stopped by a cop for walking to get my bike from work late at night, stopped me for over 5 minutes before he got out because i started to walk away. he got out with his gun out, maybe a taser but idk, and told me to get on the ground. i asked him if i was in trouble and he said "how long have you lived in this town" i said 4 years and asked if there was a warrant or description of me that made this action necessary (or something like that, i was piss scared) and he said no.
That officer Lightfoot was eventually jailed for 3 years: 2 years for the assault and 1 year for perjury in the soldier's assault trial (running consecutively)
