Well it's not harder to play on. It's actually better with the scalloped frets cause the bending gets so much easier, So if you play this kind of music i recommend scalloped frets. I cant see why people say it's harder to play on. Might be wierd with the feeling of not having wood under your fingers but, just play a few songs and you wont go back to normal necks:P So basically the speeding gets easier cause of the light touching. Someone might tell me im wrong but that's my opinion. =)

I hate how simple Yngwie makes this look, it's actually hard, but the bastard plays this re-hashed crap all the time so it's not interesting anymore. Only live does Yngwie sound any good. Good job, keep playing.

I guess the only things you need to get that tone is a Marshall Plexi amp with the two channels bridged, a DOD 308 or DOD 250 and a Strat with Dimarzio HS3s!
