Definitely, a fascinating production to look at and, yes, Mr. Domingo still has it as he proved in LA recently;however, either there is a bad disconnect between the visuals and the audio or this DVD is lip synched. Domingo's lips are nowhere near the words sung. To make matter worse, it sounds as if the opera house is obviously miked.

After seeing several excerpts of the Valencia Ring on YouTube, I bought the cycle on BlueRay. This is not a perfect production, but no such thing exists. And besides, perfection is overrated. :-) But the visual element of this production is as astounding as Wagner's music. The singing is top-notch (mostly), the orchestra is completely praiseworthy, the conducting is magisterial (bravo, Maestro Mehta!), and the visuals will blow your mind.

Uno fa un commento un po' originale e si becca un feedback negativo... una persona a caso con un grado di istruzione a caso spara un rave altrettanto a caso e si prende un +3, +5... e questo purtroppo è vero per il 90% dei video su youtube. Tra l'altro, la cosa degli elicotteri non era gratuita, se qualcuno non l'avesse capito. (continua)
