  • If these questions are simple-minded, then shouldn't they all be able to be answered in one comment on this video?

  • I am an atheist, and I also believe that these are simple minded questions, sorry. You could have really elaborated on alot of these to form a better arguement against fundies.

  • @3ntomology There are 10 videos in this series. Go to these videos and see how well the fundies are at dealing with these "simple minded questions"

  • @volanteaquila 1. Free will is impossible with an omni-god.

    2. Nope. It is his responsibility not mine

    3. If our souls are not perfect then we aren't perfect.

    4. That did not answer the question

    5. A clear contradiction, thanks.

  • One thing you'd never expect is an atheist being a Christian apologist. I can answer a few (some definitely pose an issue) with my knowledge and hear-say. #1 An all-powerful god could create free will despite those other characteristics (knowledge until the period of free-will) but that would break its omniscience. #2 Unnecessary, some Christians claim there is evidence to support their belief. #4 God is malevolent, duh. Good questions.

  • Your questions are very simple minded. I really doubt your claims of knowledge.

  • @P47ThunderboltJug Since you can't respond to them, what does that say for your mind and knowledge?

  • @P47ThunderboltJug Oh I can retard...

  • i admit, im not a very good christan, and i may be losing my faith. but on the other hand, i atleast know the bible answers every single one of your questions. maybe you should give it a read. im not gonna post it all here because i will just start a pointless internet war for flamers, so im just saying maybe read it before bashing it?

  • @HPIFreak I have read the bible cover to cover several times both vertically and horizontally. Studied it for 40 years. What you claim is called cognitive dissonance.

Problem is that there is no answer to these questions. If you don't believe me go look at the comments on each video and see if anyone has answered these questions.

  • @HPIFreak okay well then dont shoot me down for trying.omnipotent in short is all powerful. omniscient is all knowing. we cant have free will even if someone else knows what we are going to choose and can do whatever he wants? maybe its not free will to him but it is to us because we dont know. god doesnt prove anything after he sent jesus, just like there no reason for sacrafices anymore, bible says jesus is human and a god. we cannot understand this because we are human.

  • i dont understand #4 because god doesnt need blood, we need jesus's blood. (its not actual its a symbolizm thing) the blood he shed for us. i think there were 3 women that went to the tomb and they saw an angel. yes, jesus dies for our sins, in other words, for man kinds "ma bad" for falsely accusing him of being a massia. the bible gives us a prayer of salvation. the bible says somewhere if i remember about answering prayers in his time. peopole can do jesus's miracles, IF they had enough faith

  • and jesus hasnt returned because all the signs havnt been fufilled yet. there, thats my attempt. anyway im not saying religion is right or wrong, but i do believe that people have a yerning to believe in something. weather it be in religion or in a cult or in animals or hobbies or whatever. so if you believe, great. if not, great. what matters is what floats your boat. and you can yell and scream at me for not giving you scripture verses, but like i said, im kinda falling out so i dont remember

  • @HPIFreak the bible gives answers, the problem is that almost all of them are wrong and you do realize most atheists used to believe and atheists in general know of more the bible than christians, i bet you have never read the bible yourself, what is the first three words of the bible, quick, without looking

  • @wearestarstuffsagan is that some kind of trick question? everyone knows the first 3 words of the bible, even non christans. gen 1:1 in the beginning. unless your taking about a different or older version or something. and what do you mean "the bible gives answers, the problem is that almost all of them are wrong" what do you mean all wrong? wrong according to who? someone without faith? sure i guess. i know athests use to be christan, it means nothing. why do people keep using that?

  • @wearestarstuffsagan

I was playing trivial pursuit a number of years ago with family members and a priest who was a friend. The priest got the question "What are the first three words of the bible"?

    He didn't get it.

  • Wow. Thought this might be an exchange with a reasonable, intelligent individual.

My bad. Didn't know I was dealing with a sophmoric, petulant, bitter worthless waste of skin.

Don't like the answers, then don't ask the questions. Yeah. We get it. Look at the big ole brain on Netwriter. Move on and quit pestering the rest of humanity. Sad part is, some good folks would actually pray for your sorry carcass. I wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.

  • @Raider120164 Intlligent??? In the video it clearly says to go make your comment on the specific video, not here. Did you do that? Of course not because you were just way too intelligent or stupid to follow simple directions.

Your answers are those of a child who has not spent a minute reading and studying the bible.

I can tell that you are a christian because you have a foul mouth, are arrogant, haughty, hateful and lack the ability to think critically.

  • @Raider120164 Is that what you call forgiveness?

  • 7. I don't. You do the best you can, live by the word as best you can.

It's called faith. Kinda keeps you on your toes.

    8. They are. Someimes the answer is "No."

    9. It kinda been done. And the man who did it, you're not buying into anyhow. I can pull a coin from behind your ear. Is that what it takes? Coin tricks?

    10. So far, we haven't completely gone off the edge. Not time yet.

  • @Raider120164 7. So you don't know. Thanks

    8. BS, Jesus puts no qualifications on prayer. No where in the bible does Jesus say he will say NO.

    9. No it means you should be able to do the same works that Jesus did if you are a believer. Problem is that no one can do these things, no one.

    10. Jesus said he would return before those standing there listening tasted death. He was a no show.

  • 5. At least 4 or five at one point or another. The story is a bit chaotic I'll admit. But wow, wonder why. The guy just rose from the dead after all.

    6. Kind of amazing how it always comes back to choice, and the purpose Christ came here too serve. The choice made between Jesus and Barrabas. The choice the temple elders made about whether Jesus was the Messiah or a blasphemer. Interesting to think what if a different choice was made. Suicide? Seriously? Not when he still lives.

  • @Raider120164 5. The gospels were written decades later. So much for inspiration.

    6. There is no free will with an omni god, it is impossible.

  • 3. Ever hear of balance? There are two sides of every coin. How do you choose between right and wrong if there is only way to go.

    4. Atonement is a tough one, wrapped up in doctrine. Bottom line, the blood of Christ was payment for our sins. Also goes to question 2. Raised from the dead, pretty much answers if it is the real deal or not. God didn't need it. We did.

  • @Raider120164 3. Nice piece of sophistry, but you fail.

    4. Again you fail. Why does god need that we need blood?

  • 1. How do you not have free will? Life is about choices, good and bad. Yours to make. Christ laid out the foundation. The rest is up to us. Doesn't get any more free than that.

    2. You already ducked out on Christ. What proof do you need? A talking burning bush? You'll only chalk it up to Spielburg anyhow. Miracles happen everyday. Just cause they're not in Surround Sound, doesn't make them less real. Pay attention.

  • @Raider120164 1. Free will is impossible with an omni god.

    2. Show me one of these supposed miracles and the evidence for it.

  • ""2. If he is unchanging and not a respecter of persons, as the bible claims, he must give us the same proof he gave those in the bible.

    4. Yes, but why would an omni god need blood as atonement was the question.""

    2. God gives proof that he is the one speaking and he gives that proof not to make people believe but to those that already believe.

    4. To the Jews life was in the blood. Blood sympolizes life and God shows that His life was poured out bc of sin.

  • 7. I know im saved bc the Holy SPirit is in my life . read Gal 5.22 for evidence of that

8.perhaps ppl arent praying according to His will and in the SPirit and for the wrong motives.

  • 1: if someone gives you the choice to die or give someone five dollars.. and knows which you will pick, does that mean that they are controling the other?

2:is he forced to give us proof?

3: everyone is born a sinner. so if youre not doing anything wrong, you still were born in original sin

4: blood was his way of atonement for someones sins

5: how ever many it says in the bible

6: yes Jesus was sinless. he died in our place.

7: i know im saved because i believe in christ and that he forgave me

  • @ijustwannabeHISsheep

    1. If that person is omnipotent and omniscient then his foreknowledge is also his will. Free will is impossible with and omni god.

    2. If he is unchanging and not a respecter of persons, as the bible claims, he must give us the same proof he gave those in the bible.

    3. Isn't that convenient for those who sell this bronze age mythology.

    4. Yes, but why would an omni god need blood as atonement was the question.

    5. Yeah, that is the answer. Go away little sheep.

  • Religion is formalized insanity. No sane person could believe ANY of the nonsense contained in the bible (or the torah, or the koran, etc etc etc).

  • @mikefromwa so youre saying that you would rather have came from a monkey.. than have been created uniquely? i think macroevolution is the formalized insanity.

  • @ijustwannabeHISsheep: "so youre saying that you would rather have came from a monkey.."

It's not a question of what I would rather, it's a question of what IS. Evolution is supported by overwhelming evidence, well beyond any doubt. We share a common ancestor with monkeys no matter what your holy book of fairy tales says, and no matter what you would LIKE to be the truth.

Humans branched off from their common ancestor with chimpanzees about 5–7 million years ago, and that's a fact.

  • @ijustwannabeHISsheep: "i think macroevolution is the formalized insanity."

That's because you're willing to believe in the most outrageously foolish nonsense, like an invisible, telepathic super-buddy in the sky who created the entire universe in a few days. A magic being who knows everything, all the time, and who'll punish you for eternity simply for not believing in him. Yeah, right. Makes perfect sense.

There's nothing I can do about your delusional state of mind except laugh at it.

  • @mikefromwa and youre willing to believe that two rocks hit, causing the sun and earth to be positioned in the perfect stop to support life, that things go from simple to complex, that there is no point of life except death, and when you die you go no where because theres no afterlife. if i told you that you could get 5 grand by just believing you would, youd prly want to do that instead of me saying theres no point in life so why bother working for it

  • @ijustwannabeHISsheep: "youre willing to believe that two rocks hit"

That's not what cosmologists & scientists say happened. Your lack of understanding is quite astounding.

"that there is no point of life except death"

I never said that there is "no point to life".

"when you die you go no where because theres no afterlife"

Yes, when you die, you're dead. You don't go to any magical, never-ending party in the sky. Sorry if that's too much for your little brain to deal with.

  • @ijustwannabeHISsheep The point to life is life itself, not where you go after. So the difference between christians and non-christians are that christians do good to get a "reward" and non-christians do good to see the smile on a person's face knowing that they helped to support life itself. The former seems more selfish to me.

  • 10 - Because he just hasn't. My answer to Question #8 is somewhat relevant here; you would need to show that if Jesus returned now or have already would be the case that possible the most (or more) people came into a saving relationship with him rather than in the case that is actual, namely, that he hasn't returned yet. But to show this is impossible obviously.

  • @danieljanca 10. Brilliant. Jesus said he would be back in the first century. Matt 16:28, Mark 9:1, Luke 9:27

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste death, till they see the kingdom of God come with power.

Your claim does not match up with his prophecy. A false prophecy.

You should stick to music and leave this subject to those who have read and studied the bible.

  • 9 - Should I be expecting to be able to do that?

  • @danieljanca 9. Only if you believe what Jesus said. John 14:12 [Jesus] I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

  • 8* - The question should be something like "why aren't ALL your prayers answered?". Because certrainly there are prayers answered.

  • 8 - God's ultimate will is not human happiness in this life, so he might only answer to prayers whose results contribute to bringing the highest possible amount of people freely into salvation, which is his ultimate will.

  • @danieljanca 9. So based on your rationalization Jesus was lying in John 14:13 and other places where he said he would answer your prayers, no if, ands, or buts. What you state is heresy.

  • 7 - You have to accept God's grace and not commit apostasy.

  • @danieljanca 7. Since god doesn't answer 99.9% of prayers, to think he answers prayers for forgiveness or salvation is a stretch.

  • 6 - It wasn't suicide at all, but even if it were, God cannot sin. We humans can sin because we have moral duties, but those are based in God's commandments. God doesn't have moral duties.

  • @danieljanca 6. Yes it was suicide by cop. God's laws are claimed to emanate from his own nature. If he violates those laws he violates his own nature. Something does not add up, and sadly you don't get it or you don't care.

  • @Netwriter God's laws do not come from his own nature..., they are expressed in God's commands. He doesn't issue commands for himself! :D What is there to violate? From God's nature, are moral values come.

  • @danieljanca So when the bible says they emanate from his own nature the bible is lying. Or have we discovered that you don't know what the bible says?

  • 4 - We need it.

  • @danieljanca 4. Bzzzzzzzzzt! Bronze age men needed it, so their invented god needed it. You haven't thought this through have you?

  • 3 - God, as a tripersonal being, can well take on human form in Jesus, being the immaterial God at the same time.

  • @danieljanca 3. And Santa's sleigh can fly through the night sky pulled by reindeer. It is Magic. LOL

  • @Netwriter Are you interested in a more serious discussion?

  • 2 - I don't see why we needed more evidence than the personal experience of God and the vast amount of arguments of all kinds for theism and against atheism and other religions.

  • @danieljanca 2. I wonder why you settle for no evidence. The bible claims god is unchanging and not a respecter of persons. The evidence you claim of personal experience is bogus unless you believe the same claims of personal experience claimed by those who believe in other gods. What you accept as evidence is best explained as self delusion. Did most all the bible characters believe based on "arguments" or real evidence? Arguments are not evidence.

  • @Netwriter I am interested why you think arguments are not evidence, and what you mean by real evidence. I do think they are good evidence, so unless all the arguments for theism fail, I am thoroughly justified in trusting my personal experience. What makes claims about other gods inferior, is that we have good evidence to think they do not exist, in contrast to the case with the Christian God, which overall is absolutely sufficient.

  • @danieljanca Arguments are not evidence. What I mean by evidence is what is reported in the bible that most every character received. Have you witnessed Jesus in person walking on water, raising the dead, or appearing as a pillar of fire or parting of a sea? Paul even got absolute proof. For an unchanging god this is a change.

  • @Netwriter No, I haven't seen Jesus, not even visions of him. The personal experience of the Holy Spirit was enough for me to believe, which was later somewhat strengthened by arguments. Exactly, God without creation is changeless and timeless, but with creation (e.g. now) he is not.

  • @danieljanca So you are now claiming that god has changed. Again you are in total conflict with what the bible teaches in 17 places in the bible in 14 different books. It seems I am dealing with just another standard cafeteria pop christian. He doesn't know what the bible says, but is full to the brim with what his con man preacher has filled him with.

So people who believe in other gods because of warm and fuzzy feelings is proof to you that their gods are real along with their arguments?

  • 1 - God knowing our acts doesn't determine them. God knows because we will do it. If we would do otherwise, God would know that. Rather, free will is impossible on atheism, since every action is just the result of preceding events of particles, there thus being no free agent at all, everything being determined by e.g. biochemical reactions in our brains.

  • @danieljanca 1. An omni god knew before he created, he then created making all of the future his foreknowledge and thus his will. Free will is impossible with an omni god. Your comment is nothing but double speak. The determinism of naturalism of which you speak is not the subject of this video. Putting it in is a red herring.

  • @Netwriter I could just repeat myself here. God didn't create his foreknowledge, he created the future of which his foreknowledge is a "result". Determinism is not at all a red herring, I wanted to note that it is precisely atheism on which free will is impossible, since everything is the outcome of preceding events of particles. If you think bith that we humans have free will, and no supernatural exists, you got to abandon one idea or the other.

  • @danieljanca Atheism is one thing, the lack of belief in supernatural beings/gods. It has nothing to do with determinism. Gee whiz why do christians have such a hard time with the definition of atheism? They have to "straw man" it with a bunch of other stuff.

  • @Netwriter Look, if atheism is true (and thus only the material world, physical matter exists), everything is the result of physical reactions of molecules, particles, etc. There is no free agent at all. I know what atheism is, it just seems to me that atheism & materialism & determinism are inseparable. Anyway, do you believe in free will?

  • @danieljanca Atheism is only the lack of belief in supernatural beings/gods. Again you try to tag onto it, that which it is not. I believe we have limited free will. I can not, nor could I ever be, an NFL player, no matter how much I willed myself to be.

  • @danieljanca if christianity is true, would everything it preaches be true? nope it aint true. sorry son, try again

  • 9. It can be achieved one way or another.

    10. patience

  • @Boulberhane

    9. 1970 years and no one has done it yet.

    10. He is 1900 late with his prophecy. Matt 16:28, Mark 9:1, Luke 9:27

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste death, till they see the kingdom of God come with power.

Jesus was either a false prophet or a fictional character.

  • @Boulberhane ha, I'm not a Christian. I just give answers to these things to see what people say. But I will say that it seems like you are looking for proof, fact, empirical evidence....I always thought religion was more about having faith....believing above all other things. PS: God could make a squared circle. Even I can do that.

  • 1. God gives* us free will.

    2. No, God is not a liar. Humans can't understand the logic of God.

    3. God's abilities are above human capabilities. The same as "God creates a Rock he can't lift....God then lifts the rock." He can do more than logic

    4. God has a plan for it all.

    5. Idk, wasn't there.

    6. Yes

    7. It's faith not fact. You have faith above all that you will be saved.

    8. There are things you want, and things God wants. it's always what God wants (aside from your individual actions).

  • @Boulberhane

    1. Free will is impossible with an omni god.

    2. The other option is that the bible is a lie. Has nothing to do with the logic of god.

    3. No he can't make a square circle either.

    4. Didn't answer the question.

    5. The bible gives 4 different answers to this question. You weren't there at anything the bible claims either.

    6. So in your book suicide is not a sin, nor killing a herd of swine, nor disrespecting his mom.

    7. Didn't answer the question.

    8. Then Jesus was lying John14:13

  • if you can know all the cuestions,,,, that would make you omnisient,,, if are omniscient,,, then you are God,, don't make a fool out of yourselfe, your brain runs in 60 watts, his in 6 billion watts, if you conect to it, you'll fry !!!

  • @albusai If you knew the answers to these questions it would mean that you have actually read your bible and used the brain in your head. It would also mean that you would give up the superstition of christianity.

  • Atheist: one without a belief in, or one who lacks a belief in, the existence of a god or gods. It's that easy ......snakes don't talk .. No need to carry on the god word nor make up a god .......

  • Also why do some muslims kill those who do not believe there is a god , is it because they need to control us all fanaticaly ?

I believe that creation is like putting all the eliments in a pot and seeing what you come up with and its still happening all over the known universe. life throws us challenges and we need to face them without the idea of god taking care of us its a myth we are going in the wrong direction of a perfect inteligence for mankind god is not involved but time is .

  • 8 i only pray for forgiveness

i think its the only thing you can pray for !!!!

end if you mean why doesn't god cure well he also doesn't punish en curse us !!!!!

    this is not his kingdom

9 hahahaha because god is not with me

end no other prophet is needed nor angels

end the bible sys the world en its people need to suffer till the end times

10 the tribulation isn't begone ore the anti Christ

end many more prophesies are not full fulfilled

make no doubt he will come100% but only GOD knows when

  • @sukruoosten 8. You think wrong. John 14:14

    9. Bzzzzzzzt wrong. Matt 17:20

10 Wrong again. You need to study your bible. Matt 16:28, Mark 9:1, Luke 9:27

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste death, till they see the kingdom of God come with power. That was the first century CE.

  • @Netwriter like Jesus said i wipe my shoes of my feet

en i wash my hands this is my last reply

there are those how will not want to believe

en you are obvious one of them

dont believe me, hahaah 1 day !!!!!!!!

  • @sukruoosten According to the bible you are not supposed to run away. I Peter 3:15 ...be ready always to give an answer to any man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.

Why did you avoid my question about belief? Can you choose to believe in fairies? Why do you think people can choose to believe when belief is a conclusion not a choice. Are you really this mentally challenged? Has christianity damaged your brain?

  • answer 5: there were 3 woman en magdalene saw the holy Jesus

en later Jesus stayed on earth for 40 days end many people saw him the second time end his arms pierced end all his scars of the torture. ALL THE SIGNS he was dead end still many didn't believe end denied him jut like modern people today without proof deny him !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    6 definitely 100% pure

7 jesus said so but still its the grace he will save us

so i say hopefully !!!!! YES

  • @sukruoosten 5. Bzzzzzzzzzt wrong.

    6. Isn't suicide a sin? How about that herd of swine that he killed?

    7. You again failed to answer the question.

  • @Netwriter suicide is unforgivable because you Dy with the sin !!!!

end 5 is correctly for those how believe

now tell me without god who created non-living materials create you chance

now that takes a believe !!!!!! hows your god-evolution-bible-textbooks

    what was the beginning

    what is our purpose

people who suffer no justice for them ???

to believe has more meaning to life then to deny HIM how will judge us all

beg for mercy en bow down for HIS holy name

  • @sukruoosten Here is Jesus' suicide note. John 10:17-18 He died an unrepentant sinner.

John 20:1 only one woman went to the tomb. Matthew28:1 two women, Mark 16:1 Three women, Luke 24:10 More than three women.

I don't know and neither do you how life began, I will wait for science to figure it out.

Our purpose is what we choose it to be.

To believe in a falsehood is a waste of your mind and your life.

Can you prove anything you believe is not just mythology?

  • 1 HE made all of us but we can choose to believe in HIM ore not to kill ore not to bee a thief end a atheist 2 Jesus was the last needed proof end salvation he was the last holy part of god that came it doesn't get bigger then that except GOD 3 hahahahahha GOD is above good en wrong HE is the rule maker end bender thou shalt not kill HE destroyed over a billion people in the massive flood HE is perfect PERIOD 4 thats the ritual he asked for this is the way to forgive sins
  • @sukruoosten 1. Free will is impossible with an omni god. Everything is just the way he wants it to be. Can you choose to believe in six legged man eating watermelons? Belief is not a choice but a conclusion.

    2. Then an unchanging god has changed.

    3. Isaiah 45:7 Plus why the flood if he is perfect?

    4. You failed to answer the question.

  • @Netwriter i answered everything 100% perfectly

but there are those how will deny him even if they had seen him perform the unbelievable things he did

i tell you people saw him raise the dead en walk on water do impossible things no man can do ore create

-free will you are a atheist you talk about god en he doesn't strike you down

    -god never changes, people change

-he was angry HE makes the rules, HE will also do in the near future !!!!!!

end do you believe are you even open to god ???

  • @sukruoosten Your answers ignore what the bible clearly said. They were not perfect by any stretch.

BS, 2 billion believe and their prayers are not even answered, nor is there any evidence.

The bible teaches against free will, but you are ignorant of the bible. Ephesians 1:3-5, 2:4-10 Romans 8:28-30, 9:10-15, 9:16-19, Rev 13:8 and II Timothy 1:9

Why would a omni god be angry?

I am not an atheist, I just don't believe in the cartoon character of the bible. He is not a real god.

  • @Netwriter if you're not atheist, what would you call yourself?

  • @netwriter

Please explain how this sounds robotic

  • @Donkeyhotey2010 Start using the reply link or your future posts will be deleted.

Let me see, you will have some friends and family probably burning in hell, yet you won't care and will be happy. How will this be possible with a rational brain? Sounds more like the Borg.

  • nt there will be no desire to rebel, no expression of death( which as humans is always present from the day we are born till the day we die), no more confrontation with evil( for that battle is already over, and Jesus won), no more anxiety over time( fir we will have eternity to enjoy, and no separation from God.

  • @netwriter

Yes absolutely!! Heaven is sunless because in heaven we will have no desire to sin, this is due to the fact that according to revelations there will be a new heaven and a new earth and the battle with evil and Satan is over once and for all, and the best part is that Jesus is the victor. In heaven there will be no desire to sin due to the fact that the true nature of sin will be exposed and all will see it for what it really is, death. And the best part of heaven is what will be abse

  • @Donkeyhotey2010 Sounds like robots to me.

  • @Donkeyhotey2010.... according to revelations? that is your argument? ........

  • Question one: free will is possible with an all powerful and all knowing god due to the fact that god is all powerful he is able to limit his power over us so that we may make our own choices. God could have simply created robots with no choice but to love him, but where is the good in that if someone is forced to do something then it lacks all sincerity and is worthless, yet if love is given of free will than it is worth more than anything else in this world.

Question Two: God still does show

  • @Donkeyhotey2010 Hope will heaven work. Will you have free will in heaven?

  • number one should be wont dont you just shut up and fuck off and number 2 should be why dont you refer to question number one

  • Why did he need adams rib to make eve? Why couldn't he just make her in the same way he made adam?

If god is everywhere, why did he have to call out when adam and eve were hiding?

Why did the all powerful god mistake bats for birds, and whales for fish?

If god loves all, why does he keep sending earthquakes, tsunamis, tornado's ect?

If god is love, and is all powerful, couldn't he just forgive us without the drama?

The list goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on.

  • @DemonLDR you're assuming a lot of things. Who says he "needed" Adam's rib to make Eve? It was symbolic!

He called out to them to give them a chance to show themselves

    Who says he mistook them?

He sends us into crises to "test" people's faith.

God can choose to forgive whomever he wants to, but wants us to reform so we become better people.

  • @heyitsmiLi Who said it was symbolic? I don't recall reading that in the scriptures. Pls show me where, when, and who decided this. If sybolism was used, then why not say ALL of the texts are symbolic; including the concept of god himself? If he is 'testing' peoples faith, then he's playing one hell of a game. He expects us to believe, when there isn't a single shred of evidence to do so. The Bible isn't proof, as its been edited, and re-edited many times, and the translation is more than poor

  • @DemonLDR

@ adam: god made everthing from nothing. but just as it was about to make eve, it ran out of nothing. so it needed something

@ everywhere ... hiding: who are you to question god

@ god mistake: bats do fly. it was the taxonomy of those days. if its good enough for god its good enough for me (it never said a whale is a fish)

@ earthquakes, tsunamis, tornado's: because of free will. and the gays. and boobies

@ just forgive: that wouldnt be just

@ list goes on: as do the answers

  • I'm a non believer but i still want to try at this quiz.

    1) with every choice we create a new universe. We are destined in this sense to make every choice possible simultaneously. This allows us to have free will with this idea of god.

    2) Even many of the people of the old testament and the followers of Jesus did not truely believe. Would Judas really betray the son of God? I think Judas thought Jesus was just suppose to be a future ruler like a king.

    8) Because I don't pray lol

  • answer to #5: at least 5 women: Mary Magdalene, Mary mother of James, etc.

    ans#6: yes he was.

ans#9: if everyone were granted that kind of power, the earth would probably fall to pieces within a day (considering the number of people who enjoy violence).

ans#10: are you implying he needs to return, say, every few decades to prove his existence? Nowhere in the Bible does it say that.

  • @heyitsmiLi #5 one gospels says only one woman

    #6 proof?

    #9 but Jesus promised it.

    #10 Matt 16:28, Mark 9:1, Luke 9:27

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste death, till they see the kingdom of God come with power.

  • @Netwriter

#5 Matt 28:1 "Mary Magdalene and the other Mary"

Mark 16:1 "Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, Salome"

Luke 24:10 "Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary mother of James"

#6 Col 2:9 "For in Him dwells all the fullness of deity in bodily form." Jesus was both god and human: he inherited his human nature from Mary, and his divine nature through the Holy Spirit. He was without original sin.

    #9 some quotes?

  • @heyitsmiLi 5# 4 gospels 4 different stories.

#6 Non sequitor, Jesus committed suicide. He also killed a herd of pigs that did not belong to him.

    #9 Watch the video.

  • #10 Matt16:28, Mark9:1, Luke9:27:"Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of God come with power." Did you think Jesus meant he was to return before some of our generation died? Check the context, Jesus was referring to his disciples. The verses say the disciples saw the glory and power of God's kingdom on the Mt. of Transfiguration when they went to pray. Indeed, the disciples ("some standing here") did "not taste death"

  • @heyitsmiLi Nope, sorry, but you are out of context now. If you watched the videos instead of coming up with these pitiful apologies you would serve yourself well. You should be doing your responses on each video, not here. It says so right there in the video not to respond here.

  • answer to #1: if God were omnipotent and created a world without free will, it'd defeat the purpose of creation.

ans#2: 'cause it'd take A LOT of 'proof' to convince this generation - in fact there'd be no point. If Jesus appeared in front you right now you'd just think it was a hallucination.

ans#8: my prayers are answered every day. Obviously I don't ask for ludicrous things like a new motorbike or a scholarship to Oxford University (now that would defeat the purpose of prayer).

  • @heyitsmiLi 1. Free will is impossible with an omni god.

    2. People believe, just like you with no proof, so your claim is bogus.

    8. John 14:13

  • @Netwriter

#1 We're given the ability to choose freely (*free will), but God knows everything we do as he is *omnipotent.

#2 like I said, if Jesus appeared in your room as proof of his existence, you'd just dismiss it as a mirage, so there's no point in trying to prove anything to you.

#8 John 14:13 "I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son." You conveniently left out the second bit. Ask for things that glorify the Father/Son; they will be granted.

  • @heyitsmiLi 1. Free will is impossible with omni god.

    2. Wrong.

    8. I didn't leave out the end of that verse. Pray for a cure for childhood leukemia and see if he grants it even though it would glorify the Father/Son.

  • religion is on a rapid decline!

  • what oes god need blood for in the bible? where does it say a being is perfect and imperfect at the same time in the bible? im an atheist but im just thinking about asking my parents these questions but i need a little more info on if they answer it like "when does god need blood in the bible?" or hte other question i asked.

  • @101796bg Hebrew 9:22

  • @Netwriter oh alright thanks man

  • Mr NetWriter sir, I just stumbled across your video here and then went on to watch your ten quoted videos in the description and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them so much thank you! However, I have only one small gripe, and that is that video six has an invalid link and therefore I was unable to watch that one. Can you please correct that as I would love to watch it also. Thank you again for all of your work, Sir!

  • @LordMacBeth79 I fixed it thanks.

  • @Netwriter Just watched that one now. Thank you so much again, Sir! Brilliant series of videos. I have now subcribed. Amazing stuff. PLEASE keep it up!

  • Question 6 is wrong. It should be, "How does sacrificing an innocent pay for the crimes of a guilty?" If I commit a crime and someone else goes to jail for me how is that moral? How can a society allow the criminals to go free while innocents pay?

  • christianity is like every other religion... full of people who do not think

  • Your prayers are not answered because so few christians pray in the closet.

The bible tells christians to pray in the closet, "and their prayers will surely be answered"...

  • @dangerouslytalented

that explains the noise coming out of my closet :)

  • Definitive and impossible for fundies to weasel out of. Brilliant!

  • My main objection, growing up, was that human sacrifice sucks.

Sacrificing a living human being in order to appease some god, for whatever reason, sucks.

    Good on ya.

  • you are such a bad ass mofeo!!!!!!!! gj

  • You're gonna be waiting a long time for any decent answers. lol.

  • I always ask them to coherently define God. They always fail and start calling me ignorant or too closed minded and hateful. Like they say: Rabid dogs froth at the mouth.

  • @GodKillerAtheist clearly you've been talking to the wrong people

  • @heyitsmiLi I always am.

  • question 11. Why are there no true christians? =o)

  • Beautifully intelligent and thoughtful questions! I agree, everyone of the Christian faith (whatever denomination or sect) should be able to answer them. If not, well ...

  • Good questions,I would add "why this god and not this other one?" well, because it was probably the main question who led me out of christian belief.

  • The bible is the most vile and repulsive book ever written. Amen

  • @Dwicker64 Have you read the quran? Just as barbaric.

  • @dubaipete LOL, both the bible and the Quran are THE most vile and repulsive book (singular)!

  • @farvision how is it singular when they're completely separate books?

  • @heyitsmiLi It's a joke ... just as the bible is the only way to truth AND the Quran is the only way to truth (according to their insane proponents).

  • @Dwicker64 I take it you haven't read Bill O Reilly's autobiography.

  • @Netwriter I have a feeling if you put a christian on the spot like with these questions, you're giving them a free ticket to make shit up. you'll get william lanes craigs crap and then just get ignored...

  • @daemonowner maybe you should talk to the right people, i.e. Christians who will state facts and back them up.

  • Never could understand why christians are so against weed when they worship a deity who brags about turning perfectly good water into wine for his followers to get a buzz off of.

  • @Atheistprimate And the fact that it says IN THE BIBLE God gave us every herb yielding seed. Marijuana is an herb that yields seed so I don't see the problem christians, etc. have against it.

  • @Atheistprimate Not just that, if the bible is to be believed, god created weed and gave it along with every other herb to man. I have a video called "The Drug Dealing God" you might enjoy.

  • @Netwriter well, humans were given free will so they're actually able to do whatever they want with herbs. You sound as though you're accusing God of making people sell marijuana...

  • @Atheistprimate I have the answer, they are submissive by nature and because the gov' deems it illegal therefore it must be "bad."

  • Good questions there. It's evident that the self-contradictory nature of the god of the bible (as well as the god of the koran) makes a being with such attributes impossible even in theory.

That doesn't disprove the existance of a 'creator', of course, but nevertheless there is still no good reason to believe so. And to assume anything like that only raises more questions than answers.

  • @detersgumig You are correct in both points. Thanks for the great comment.

  • Ha, Netwriter, right now you have 6,666 subscribers!!

  • @216trixie Yeah, and it happened right when I put this video up. Do you think the christians will claim the devil made me do it?

  • @Netwriter Yes they will. I found out from Christians that i'm in league with the devil because the 216 in my user name =6x6x6.

  • @216trixie that's just bull. Seriously, I'm Christian and I'm not superstitious.

  • @heyitsmiLi When I was a believing Christian, I thought I was free from superstition, also. But any belief, in magical, unseen, nonexistent beings, is superstition. Praying, then thinking you're getting any kind of answer is superstition. Belief in a god or gods, is superstitious.

  • questions over questions, none can be answerd satisfying without making stuff up. unless accepting the whole thing as fiction and an evolved myth that is. because then it suddenly makes perfect sense.

why do so many people get different answers from god about what the absolute truth would be?

beside killing god obviously likes to confuse and discomfort people, as he amongst others clearly showed in the tower of babylon tale. why is god such a ghastly character?

  • @theheinzification

Generations and generations of people placing their own ghastly characters and motives onto what they call "god", whatever that is.

  • @theheinzification So you're blaming the actions/words of misled Christians on God?
