I hate this game for pulling a starfox assault on us: You play the first level and it's like "OMGOGMOGOMG! EPIC RETURN OF ONE OF MY FAVE FRANCHISES".... Then you get to the werehog stage and it's mediocre at best, and then you come to the sad realization that this "New and innovative" gameplay mode is actually 75% of the game and you die a little inside....

@adacowan No, you are not required to do anything except play through the levels, you don't need to collect the medals to open up levels, instead they open up extra levels that you can get goodies in.

I have to say, the boost animation of the sonic cone looks cooler in the wii version, but that doesnt make up for crappy dialogue sequences. I didnt know chip was navi's cousin, except that you can choose to ignore her.......

This is ALOT different from 360 version. The tutorial was 1 level, when Chip talked you could move, and the talking was different...the person would stand there, sometimes moving back and forth retardedly, sometimes with flowers or smoke above their head, and dialog showed up at the bottom. I'm not gonna say if either version is better cause no matter what I choose people will yell at me for it.

@TheGamekid96 I dislike Colors a lot, as it threw away a lot of things I liked about Sonic, but yeah. 3-D games are generally better than 2-D, and franchises that go from 2-D to 3-D normally improve a lot from before. Look at Sonic 1 and this, look at Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid. I'd say more, but I can't think of others at the moment.

Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, came after, then Metal Gear Solid came out and the series took off from there, with "Solid" now being a part of the title of the series. Fitting too, as Solid Snake was the long running protagonist for around 2 decades, give or take a year or two.
