This video is from the movie "Girls Town" made in 1959, Paul Anka starred in this movie. The band in the background is not really playing. The women in the movie are beautiful, course I was but 2 years old at the time the movie was filmed.

Actor Tony Shaloub. Check out the Arab American Institute website for an extensive list of famous people with Arab background. It is really interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy.

Four and a half years earlier, Bill Haley and His Comets struck a chord with teens with Rock Around the Clock, and then Elvis Presley came along with Heartbreak Hotel. @bon1042 I will always remember the Happy Days episode where Potsie sang Put Your Head on My Shoulder to Joannie. Joannie was smitten with him and came on to him. Potsie politely had to tell her no. Of course, Joannie was devasted, but would later marry Chachi in the series finale. HD was a good show, even though it fell off after Ron Howard left. Too bad they don't make shows like that anymore.
