  • hahahaha, omg the pregnant pause at the end! hilarious!

  • Hajaahuja leih long ling hakata hama hama hakata

  • uuu iRife

  • someone once said to me, having a PC is like being the engineer - because you can tinker with it and get under the bonnet as it were... but having a Mac is like being the racing driver, you just get in and drive/use it. I thought it was a pretty good analogy! XD

  • Ever heard of Windows Media Center? It's like Garage Band, iPhoto, and iMovie except better and all bundled into one program so that you don't have to go find a million different applications

  • It's a shame Apple doesn't include Appleworks anymore. Compare that with Microsoft's Microsoft works.

goodbye free, and useful, software. :'(

  • Microsoft Office does come pre-installed in hundreds of models these days.

  • I am Korean and I swear he said Calculator in Korean........ 0:20...... well then again we are asian

  • @gameplaypark yea he said 걔산기

  • @gameplaypark Well then you should know that Korea was under Japanese influence a long time and borrowed a tons of words from Japanese. Including calculator etc

  • @SMGJohn Right... I forgot

  • @gameplaypark -- Well, you'd be surprised how many Japanese and Korean words are the same or very similar. Like:

Yakkusoku = Yaksokk (약속) = Promise

Sashin ~ Sajin (사진) = Photograph

Suugaku ~ Suhak (수학) = Math

Kaban = Gabang (가방) = Bookbag

Undou ~ Undong (운동) = Exercise

And so forth. In many cases, it's because the Kanji/Hanja that the words originate from are the same Chinese Hanzi, so the pronunciations are automatically similar.

  • @Sonicblade128 I noticed thanx for the info

(BTW some people use the word "Sansu" instead of "Suhak")

  • @Sonicblade128

Not "Yakkusoku", but "Yakusoku" for "Promise" in Japanese.

Not "Sashin", but "Shashin" for "Photograph" in Japanese.

The rest are correct (for Japanese part).

  • i dint know jpease had a sence of houmour

  • OMFG PC is so cute<333

  • PC listens to Eurobeat? Thats new.

  • or course windows has lots of (and even more than mac) software, but his face expression while saying "Tokei!" is just hilarious.

  • Most PCs don't come installed with office. But apple's equivalent is $79. Figure out what ilife would cost on a pc. A video editor, a photo organizer, A multi track audio tool, and a simple web site builder. (Premier $329, Darkroom $39, Protools Basic $199, Dreamweaver $79)

  • Actually the way i see it the Mac Vs. PC ads are all just poking fun at Steve Ballmer and the early Windows ad he did. And YES Steve Ballmer DID say something like "And for just 99 dolars you get this incredible value - you not only get Windows but you get MS-Dos too and a clock! and CAN you belive it REVERSI !" or something like that LOL

  • @Supenmanu

Ya I'm pretty sure those were ads for Windows 95

  • LOL…The Japanese ones are funnier than their American counterparts. And I'm a huge fan of those.

Go Mac! *former Mac hater who will absolutely never switch back to PC*

  • (PC):too bad we have all the cool games!

  • けさんき

    あとは?

    時計

    that made me laugh ;)

  • PC does not just have "Calculator" and "Clock", it has ALL of Microsoft Office and a few more Microsoft programs too... So what if Mac has iLife.

  • Every PC comes with Microsoft Office pre-installed now then?

  • Not really...it comes with a 60-day free trial of Microsoft Office Home and Student, which is only 4 programs...all of Microsoft Office is about 10 programs. And yeah it does have a few more programs...like Notepad

  • @mikikaoru PC and M$ Office pre-installed?

You mean, the Trial version, which requires you to buy a copy of M$ Office?

Mac comes with the retail version of iLife, since Mac OS X cost only 30 euro's, to make it fair with Windoze.

  • @mikikaoru if you want to pay for it, other than that it's just a lame trial

  • @mikikaoru pre-installed programs are for suckas

  • @mikikaoru yep btw too bad half of the mac programs are made by microsoft (owners of windows) so we even win in that

  • @mikikaoru

Windows doesn't cost <$1000, where as most of the money for the mac comes toward adobe & apple products.

  • @mikikaoru Mine did.. O-o

  • @mikikaoru Sure, the demo version. You just have to pay what, $60 for the full? When OpenOffice does the same things for free?

  • @PeanutGuy22

    Ho-boy! Office and... and... more...

  • @PeanutGuy22 IT HAS Microsoft office which cost you another 100bucks

  • @liealvin2 Use open office for instance if you do not wish to buy proprietary software.

  • @PeanutGuy22 no it doesn't, you have to buy office separately

  • Very Japanese at the end there lol, "Mac" is too polite to say anything ...

  • Too polite, or just at a lost for words. That happens to the Japanese too xD

Anyway, these Japanese versions are way better ^^

  • love this!!!

  • Lol clock

  • cooke and clockisan.

My two favorite japanese words i'll always remember.

    BTW Macs pwn PCs

  • 凄い面白い!!!!(笑)

  • They forgot minesweeper! Japans the best, its like one big cartoon

  • AGREEEEEED!

  • How convenient they forget that Windows comes with media player. And that WMP11 is actually faster and less bloated that iTunes.

  • not on a Mac it isn't, iTunes is a whole different experience on the Mac, it lags on Windows, but it smooth as hell on Mac OSX! Windows Media Player is the same, smooth on Windows, lags on Mac!

  • @rkukentertainment Exactly, because both companies build iLife and Microsoft WIndows Player solely for Macs and PCs respectively.

  • @rkukentertainment

Well, I use both on both platforms, never lagged on each other.

  • duh... gee I wonder why they didn't say that? duh... could it be because it's an apple commercial advertising an apple computer? duh... I never would've thought of that! They can't have any sort of slanted view simply because they're trying to promote their brand over another... nope... that's just not how advertising works!!!

  • I love the Japanese versions of these commercials. PC is so naive and doesn't even realize he is pretty inferior to Mac. He seems to be showing off a bit with keisanki and tokei.

  • Yurobito! :D

  • LOL! That is soooo good!

  • lol that was weird.

  • EUROBEATU! =3

  • i wonder if they can handle a corrupted video file????????????

  • OMFG A CLOCK IM GETTING A PC

  • LOL!

  • Omg pc is just sooo cute!! And mac too! x) ...unlike the western ones.... also theyre not mean to each other.

  • Thats true actually, the mac's just a bit patronising, like an older brother :)

  • Or a clever younger brother... just love it! :D

  • You are obviously a Macwhore. Please leave the building.

  • lol

  • ROFLMAO

  • ROFL

  • IRAIFU

  • i need a mac haha same as me is imple with itunes but with japanese ipod can't because of the language aaaaa

  • LMAO!! I nearly spat my tea out when I saw Katagiri doing his Mr Bean dance right at the beginning. XD

  • LMAO!! i got stuff too!!

    like?

    calculator!!

    And?

    Clock!! ROFLMAO

  • hahaXD!

  • lol, "i have fun stuff too.", "like?", "calculator", "And?", "clock"

  • that was awsome!

  • Lol but doesn't ipod in the apple company who also make macs? xD Then how come it's on the pc's side?

  • because it works on a pc too

  • Well...I know that but shouldn't it not be on pc's side? It's like saying that an ipod is bad?

  • What they're saying is that, see, the iPod works well but when you try to run music/video files on iTunes on a PC it sucks, whereas when you run it on iTunes on a Mac it works well. I tested this theory myself and it's true.

  • Ooh I get it. Thanks.

  • reply to RSCrystal: thats not true, my PC runs like....every file greatly :)

When i look at these commercials i feel like there comparing a mac to a shitty pc :P

  • Japanese mac is a freeging ninja!!!

  • That "Tokei" sounded weird! XD

I love those ads so much! <3

  • Calculator AND a clock! Wow! XD

    Mac rules!

    Tokei! o___O

  • hehe mac FTW

  • LOL

  • These commercials are so cute! :))

  • I love japanese culture! Everything is so much funnier in Japan than in america.

  • @viciousdave119 Most ignorant comment of the week, by far...Hey, imbecile, anime isn't real.

To say that EVERYTHING is SOOOOO much funnier in Japan is one of the most grossly oversimplified statements I've read in months. And that's quite an achievement on the internet...

  • @djfakt

shut up. He was expressing a positive opinion, don't shoot it down by making assumptions about his supposed ignorance.

  • @viciousdave119 weeboo.

  • LOL "...TOKEI..." XD

  • hahaha XD

  • "Dômo, Maku desu." "Konnichi wa, PesoCon desu."

That really gives a different 'voice' to the Mac (informal, laid-back) and the PC (formal).

And I really liked that ending; "Keisanki!" "... ato..." "Tokei!" "..."

  • TOKAY!

  • I <3 pasokon ^^ hahah so funny :)

  • Wow. These are so much better than the american versions! PC's dancing is hillarious

  • PC's dancing is hilarious.

  • this one made me laugh. Especially at the end when Mac just stands and wiggles his finger.

  • Eurobeat! lol

  • my dictionary uses "kake" also hmm

  • hehe clockai!! the delivery is brilliant. Thanks for these subtitled versions!

  • its tokei

  • amazing!
