@tecnoteen111 for how long. any day now one should be hitting us. It hasn't rained in months and the first big monsoon usually brings the biggest dust storm.
i think the coolest part iz when u see them b4 they hit. like the wall of dust rolling over downtown phoenix. during the storm iz interesting but horrible. i hate when they shut the roads down :/ lol
@joeAKAmarykate I agree. Although I also like the eeriness of the sudden darkness, and sudden drop in temperature, since its usually hot as hell before one of these comes through!
I work in this building also, once, management told us to get away from the windows because the wall of dirt was so thick... At night, when it's windy, you can hear the building make all sort of noises. Funny enough, I always have reoccuring dreams about falling in the elevator, and it's always the in of the elevators in the middle bank of elevators.

So yeah I wish I recorded it coming. I was just finishing up work and seen it coming but by the time I grabbed the camera and started recording it was already there!
I wonder how many cars will end up dead after challenging this weather

I've never seen the dust storms from up high. Usually I'm driving head on into the dust on the I-17 or the 101.

Arizona actually does have good air quality. despite this we're better than places like Houston or L.A. or Mexico City...

Summer 2006 sometime. One of the first monsoon storms of the year, those usually have the worst dust storms!
