There is no such thing as a government that pays for all that you want. That money comes from taxpayers, and I don't think it's fair for people who have worked for their money to have to pay for single mothers and their children. No one wants to control anyone's sexuality. If you want to have a lot of sex, go right ahead, but if you have babies along the way, you're responsible for them, not taxpayers.
If we educated kids properly on sex and birth control, this discussion would be all but unnecessary.
If we taught our children to respect each other, and themselves, this discussion would be all but unnecessary.

You guys are seriously trying to start an argument with me because I say I'm for equality? I know the meaning behind feminism, I'm not "operating with a flawed definition". I'm saying that I think feminism shouldn't exist, it should be just plain equality, for both genders, all races/ethnicities, religions, orientations, and political views. I don't believe in feminism, I believe in equality. For people to sit there and say that they are feminist, they are being hypocritical to the underlying message of "feminism", which is equal treatment. Not just for being a woman, nor for being a man. I do agree with the message, I don't agree with the title, because I don't believe that women "deserve" anything, just like men don't. It's sad that as humans we still have to succumb to treatment based on gender.

There is no such thing as a government that pays for all that you want. That money comes from taxpayers, and I don't think it's fair for people who have worked for their money to have to pay for single mothers and their children. No one wants to control anyone's sexuality. If you want to have a lot of sex, go right ahead, but if you have babies along the way, you're responsible for them, not taxpayers.

I don't believe in feminism, I believe in equality. For people to sit there and say that they are feminist, they are being hypocritical to the underlying message of "feminism", which is equal treatment. Not just for being a woman, nor for being a man. I do agree with the message, I don't agree with the title, because I don't believe that women "deserve" anything, just like men don't. It's sad that as humans we still have to succumb to treatment based on gender.

This has almost no sway with a judge. Did she sign away her parental rights? Have a criminal background? Chemical dependency? There is some reason for this. How ironic! a black woman saying this. The abortion movement in this country was founded on eugenics, which is in nature a bigoted and racist movement. Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood was quoted as stating she wanted "to exterminate the negro population" in her "Negro Project". Look it up......This is one ignorant black woman. Not much different than the African slave traders...trading her own people in for her own gratification. I guess if you're a dumb racist, abortion's ok.

Individuals can still make a choice...It's just that this particular choice involves killing your own defenseless child...That is called tyranny. Not much different from what the Nazis did, nor the slave owners, which was to specify a class of people as "non-human." Getting an abortion doesn't necessarily make you a racist, but it definitely confirms extreme ignorance. Educate yourself on the issue.

@xcolompapi i don't know why you turned this into a death penalty vs abortion thing, but both are complex, multi-faceted issues. and your comparison is a bit...off. people who choose abortion aren't looking to wipe out groups of people based on hate for however they're labeled, nor does it mean defining the fetus as a non-human, which the definition of human itself is complex and any fine line is arbitrary. i think you misunderstood me about racism. i should have clarified that coerced abortion

People who choose abortion are misled by a group of elitists who think they can guide population like livestock and cash in on their situations at the same time. Mothers are not looking to wipe nothing...They are the livestock as are you and I. I guarantee you if PP was begun by Hitler, people would not go, which is why Nazis are avoided like the plague.

If you have a gun and shoot into it, you would STILL be arrested on CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE grounds. There MIGHT be a person in the building, so you don't shoot. Common sense will tell you that. Same in the womb. You "don't know if there's a person in there"...so you don't shoot. You don't abort when there's uncertainty of personhood

A woman's body is NOT some abandoned thing for the use of anyone that any person can simply squat in; it's her OWN body, and if a person is trespassing in your home it is perfectly lawful to defend yourself. The only person who has rights to a woman's body is the woman herself. Not a man, not the government, and not even a possible fetus.

Guess what....You can kill someone who trespasses, out of self defense.....That baby did not enter your womb on it's own.....YOUR consent to sex did...by your actions. For something to "enter" it must first be in existence, in the first place. That child never was until daddy's sperm fertilized mommy's egg. Know biology?

I don't support abortion for women who take advantage of it but I think there are some levels of abortion where it is justified. what do you think?

@cadreychasd I was poor (but happy) and had children...I didn't kill them. Odds mean NOTHING when you have the drive to succeed, and lots of LOVE. You don't need a lot of money to raise a child, but a lot of love. The reason why ppl blow having a child, out of proportion is bc they are 2 busy trying to keep up appearances. Rape? The baby had nothing to do with it. Don't you think it's a far more atrocious crime to rip a baby apart, without EVEN a fair trial, for someone else's crime? lemme know.

@xcolompapi The numbers grow despite people wanting to decrease the numbers of abortions because politicians continue to push abstinence-only health care even though it's proven to not work. The numbers grow because our healthcare system sucks and many women feel that they do not have the means for either pre-natal care or healthcare for their child. The numbers grow because many women do not want to be mothers, and they shouldn't be forced into it.

death of an innocent is NEVER justified. Libs complain to Cons about the death penalty ALL the time, yet are ok with abortion. Hey at least the innocent prisoner gets a trial....The child gets NO trial, but straight death sentence,and it's reason is convenience. Death for a crime we KNOW without the shadow of a doubt, that he/she did NOT commit.
