I met Al at a convention in Wichita and he is such a wonderful person and a great personality. He's a very interesting personality. Its really nice that there are parts of the moon in his paintings.

Alan Bean is great! He is so down to Earth (for a man that has walked on the moon!) and is such an inspiration to young people, whether they want to explore far away places, study aeronautics, or pursue art, he is inspiring them in an incredibly productive way.

These paintings are not only great pieces of art but of course history. I think only museum should purchase them, so that they can be seen and experienced by all. An amazing story. From one artist to another.

this is also my cousin and its from my mothers side. It is from the Scottish side and my uncle Edd Bean had written a family history book for at McBeans or the shortened version of Bean that were the descendants of the McBane clan from Scotland. i have heard stories and met him one time at a family reunion in Maine at Dot's house but was a small kid and have not had the pleasure of talking to since but plan on purchasing his art someday. his story is truly amazing and he is a remarkable man.

I am glad Alan Bean is my cousin.He is from my dad's side which is I think part of his Scottish side.Well my dad got his phone number then lost it,Had a signature and lost that somewhere in my house,I am just glad I have a cousin who has an interest in space.I remember when I first got told of him by my dad,and i myself wanted to do what he did.I Love You Alan!
