  • I can't remember if I saw this movie first or "Transylvania Twist". They both have all the great scenes of the slightly dumb mob, the looney inspector, and the great set pieces and music. I still think these older movies are better then 'Scary Movie', and the newer parodies. Great film cast and all around stillness.

  • How much does this movie rule? Awesome love letter from Brooks to the horror films of Universal he adored since he was a boy. Madeline owned every scene she was in, and the cinematography kicks ass!

  • @mrfille This is a spoof of "Son of Frankenstein." It's not based on a book. You're probably thinking of the book version of "Son of Frankenstein." So to answer your question, it's not similar to the book at all, because it has nothing to do with it.
