@alanheath3 I am a former American Paratrooper and was a history major at University.
My Wife and I went to The Falklands and South Georgia and if I remember anything about being a Para, It would be an awful place to have a war. I hated with a pasion rain/snow and around freezing temps. Even with Fleece, Gore Tex and proper kit.
@uncleavi2002 To be fair, most of our training in the UK was done in places where the land and weather is very similar to that of the Falklands whereas the Argentinians were not used to the temperature and did not have the proper equipment for it!
And where was the barbecue sauce?

I have been to Fitzroy and Bluff Cove. I said a prayer for the men lost there at the monument for them.
