This town, Jena, has had many problems with racism and in this court case a black student was convicted with 20 YEARS in prison for slightly injuring a white student. A week later, white students got off with a 2 day suspension for injuring a black student.

Hank is forgetting a few facts. Come on, this case was more than a mere school yard fight. It was 6 on 1, and it does not matter if the victim attended a party that night or not. When 6 people jump 1 person that is attempting to do great harm to the extent that is classified as attempted murder. The young man that got jumped is damn lucky to survive such a brutal attack, infact he did substain serious injury ie bleeding out of both ears. And the main attacker already had a rap sheet.
