here, you get the strengths and the shorts of Marshall amplifiers. I think I will stick to Fender Bandmasters. I really like Marshall, but, as you can hear, Pete Townsend did not use them. Why? Hendrix used them, but he was kind of different. Personally, there is no such thing as a good Fender. I love the solo, by the way, but I would not have chosen Marshall for that performance.

Reality check. back in those days, people threw everything at the stage, including lit M-80's, the real ones. i know because i saw them go off. that is not crap. if you were on a stage, you had better handle it. ask iggy, ted, or even jethro tull. so many peeps threw crap at Jethro Tull, I got discusted. Yet, he was fantastic. Detroit is not kind. But they are real.

Maybe we should throw sharp objects and M-80's at you and see how you "handle it:." I was at shows in the late 70's too and saw stuff like this. My friends and I usually took care of them one way or another. Those who do that kind of shit deserve it right back. Tenfold. This was in Toronto. Not much different than Detroit really. What does the city have to do with it anyway? Why would you pay money to go see a good band and try to physically hurt the members? How retarded!
