@softballgirls1123: its not good to feed any kind of tort cabbage cuz it doesnt have a good amount of Vitamin A. its best to go with dark greens or carrots.

Your turtle in an "African Sulcata" They are from north Africa , Mediterranean area. He will grow to 200Lbs & live to 175 years old! Dont feed him lettuce, that will damage his shell, grass & dandilion weeds are good , he needs to be in a little plate of water once a week, the water should only be as deep as his neck. also they need calcium powder in the food once a week. Best thing to do is to find out the exact kind of turtle you have and do a google search, you will find many groups out there with the proper info. Thats what we did. Good luck!
