Well, I ended up buying this aircraft, without prior knowledge of the throttle issue many people are having :/ Aerosoft seem to be trying to help, but remain fairly unresponsive..Probably overwhelmed I'd imagine with people having this issue. Models look beautiful, just that I cant get them off the ground! Lol :(

I really like Aerosofts scenery products, but Im still not convinced with the aircraft.. The textures are still of less than spectacular quality, and things like the FMC are modeled very basically. It seems no one is going to the effort to make a fantastic aircraft. PMDG are the only ones who get it all right down to the last detail :( Thats why they own the market. I will keep buying Aerosoft scenery..though I do want this airbus!! Not digging at aerosoft, just observing :)

Texture wise for an Airbus the Aerosoft version is the best VC I've seen compared to the Wilco or Just Flight versions. Also note Aerosoft are developing an advanced version of Airbus X, still unlikely to be to PMDG standard, but it will feature a detailed FMC and re-coded fly-by-wire flight dynamics. So it may be worth hanging on and see what happens...

Yes will hang on and see whats on offer, I have purchased Aerosofts sceneries etc and am really happy, just the aircraft are sometimes hit and miss, maybe as Im used to buying PMDG, but there are some great brands out there. Its a struggle to find anyone making a really good quality Airbus or even Boeing 737 series..I have purchased other brands before but they are just a nightmare to install, or they dont come with panels..there is always a catch! lol

Hi, I have brought this baby, one question from me... I have Saitek x52pro, for some random reason when i put my throttle to full or just a little bit for taxi or something, it wont let me.... it goes back to idle... The strage this is that the throttle does not move at all... Any help?

How good is the FMC? I only want to buy this AddOn, when I can programm SID's, airways (respective the currenct AIRAC) and STAR's in it, because I fly online on IVAO. It should be able to fly holdings and shortcuts. I've heard that I can programm all the waypoints of the SID manuelly, is this correct? Hope you can tell me all about this, thank you

Hi. SIDS/STARS can be manually programmer if they're in the default Navigraph database. You can't program a hold but there is a Direct To feature. SIDS/STARS are made easy if you use a tool like FS Commander. Other Beta testers have flown online without any issues.

The bird is freeware from 'EarthSimulations'

A version of the Navigraph database is included with Airbus X. It can be updated through the Navigraph website, but a subscription required.

Around 3:37 the bank angle appears to be beyond the normal 67' limit and potentially beyond the 15' nose down pitch limit too. I trust this is because the FBW was in alternate or direct law?

@MrCbd1980 I did wonder if that was the case, the camera angle and the clouds make it quite hard to determine the attitude of the aircraft, but never the less I considered it worth an ask :-)

Thanks for your observations, however, that is how the shots were intended to look. To give a glimpse, but not give too close a look; in order to create a sense of anticipation.

Fair point but the sounds are 3rd party. I guess they decided to include the PTU sound as it is unique and recognisable in the cabin as passenger.

Hope Aerosoft gets a proper video made of this once closer to release or soon after. Not sure the direction this video was attempted to be taken but was really random with the short shots and weird intro.

No! Why? Because if it's not Boeing I'm not going! Not a Airbus fan and have never flown on one. Also Aerosoft has used a video of mine for promotional use, Tahiti X. Oh and I did not even volunteer for it, they just saw liked and used. Maybe that's volunteering.
