If you need a good program to send text to a cell phone you can use textfree. People can reply back but, it gives you a 757 number instead of a 240 or 301 number

this is not the most reliable way of texting on an ipod some texts will get to ur or other persons phone fomr 30 seconds to hours its pretty buggy but it does work
