I dont know ifyou still use these videos but i really enjoyed your help videos my collection is almost as big as yours.Would you make a video of your japanese magazines
You seem really cool. I like your videos. I have been into comics my whole life. I'm getting interested in manga but I know nothing and when I go into a book store it's a bit intimidating. I don't know where to even begin. Anyones have any tips for a noob? Thanks
beautiul! i want a kinokuniya! i live in a town so small, the nearest decent mall is an hour away. where do u like live? im not being a stalker or anything (just a die hard fan *jk* :)) but, i'll like move there when im 18.... maybe.
What a fuckin ugly ass skank she is eh? I wonder how many blow jobs she had to give out in that dark alley next to her cardboard box that she calls a home to afford all of that bullshit. What are you like 20? Too fuckin old to be readin comics eh? Fuck you hoe, you can suck this dick.
I wonder how long this ugly twat took to get ready for this poor excuse for a video. Only fat bitches and dikes read anime. Fact. Fuck this ugly ass cunt.
Yeah sure, I wanna spend all day translating some dumbass comic book, really fucking fun. And then, ill pay nearly 10 bucks for each book, while each book contains half an episode. Why the hell pay that much when you can watch it free online? Fucking white people >_>
MapleRichPlan: I took about 5 minutes getting ready as I already had makeup on from work that day. The video sucks because I'm not professional and I'm using a point and shoot camera. I'm far from ugly, but it's ok you're clearly racist so naturally you find me unattractive based on color. Rarely does a comic cost me $10, watch the other videos to find out how. ;) Comics contain chapters, not episodes. Because reading comics for free is theft. Thanks for your comment. :)
MapleRichPlan: oh, I forgot to address the dyke comment. You can call me fat if you wish, as body type is relative. If you're asian, I can see how you'd think I'm possibly fat. In my culture, I'm on the slimmer side of average body type. As for being a dyke: no thanks. I prefer men. I can see how you might think I'm a dyke based on the stereotype that only men can be confident or intelligent. Try to get over that and you'll probably make more friends. :)
I cannot believe you are 27. When I first saw you I thought you were 18 or 19. Amazing! Anyways very very useful vids you got here, they helped alot. Thanks.
And yeah there is a Japanese section... there are also Japanese magazine sections and doujinshi I think..not really sure but I saw a Haruhi pic on a magazine :]

hey nice stuff. Did you move to ya new place yet? ya should give us a tour ^^ Well, I find english books good too, but japanese are cheaper online. Getting SailorMoon is very rare and expensive. The anime series as well. Do you do Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters? I love Yugi Mutou Atemu! ^^
Umm just wanted to know what exact books you'd recomend for learning Japanese? Ive been digging around and have yet to find a kanji dictionary. And yes, a video explaining how to use it would be really nice : )
Thank you for these videos. You give such amazing advice for self-learners and homeschoolers/unschoolers. It's such a great way for young people to pick up a new language without awkward Pimsleur CD's or the pressure of a classroom structure.
There is a Book Off near me (the one in Costa Mesa) and I was wondering if they often have "out of print" manga there. For example, what are the chances that Sailormoon vol. 1 and Suki vol. 1-3 are there? Also, do the people there speak english (well-ish) ? I've taken ~1 year of Japanese but I'd still find it really, really nerveracking talking in the language....! I know it'd just seem like the person I'm talking to is talking really fast T.T
Yes, you will find out of print manga at Book Off. That's the primary reason to go there. I don't usually spot extremely rare manga there, but I have picked up more than a couple of out-of-print series. I'm sure I've seen original run Sailormoon volumes there before. It is worth the look.
I love your videos. They are totally helpful. (Like when I came across some manga in original Japanese at the local discount book warehouse, your video on print number totally helped me get first printings of some of the Death Note manga. <3)
And you are sooooo lucky to live in an area that has so much manga!
I swear if I ever saw that much manga at one time I would never leave. XD
Thank you so much for making both these videos! I watch anime both raw and subbed, and I'm starting to be able to understand some random phrases without subs- but when it comes to the written language I'm still clueless XD I'm gonna try to learn by doing what you suggested, thank you so much!! =3 (Also I LOVED that shot of all those manga..!)
