  • Thanks so much. for some unknown reason, however, the last 20 seconds of the song is cut off. Any ideas why this would be? I've tried various things to try to correct this, however to no avail.

  • Thankyou , the vid was a good help.

  • This has been very helpful. Thanks!

  • That was very beneficial to me. I've never felt satisfied about Linux for a very long time Lol - most of the people who explain Linux applications and softwares expect others to pick up quickly after them. Thank you very much for the simplicity and clarity

  • Does this program work with windows XP or 7?

  • neat its better than windows movie maker as in you can put more video/audio in than in windows. Kick arse. Sorta makes me think of sony vegas (watered down of course). :)

  • Thank you so much for this video.

  • Really good tutorial. But when adding pictures you can use ctrl+a (if all your pictures are in the same folder).

  • Your clock ticks really LOUD lol :D Anyways, really good tutorial. Thanks for your time teaching.

  • Thanks for the great video, it helped me get started since I've never used kdenlive. Instead of adding one clip at a time, you can use ctrl or shift key to include many in one go.

  • Thanks for your feedback, its really appreciated.

  • Dude.... that was awesome. Heck!, even your desktop image is splendid.... ;-)

  • 5* Very well explained.

  • Thanks

  • Excellent video, Man!

  • Thanks Arthur

  • axel1973w - yes, you can just drag&drop :) from Nautilus or Dolphin (I know this works)

Kdenlive can do much more. You have transitions, zooming, moveing... but you need to take time :)

  • I tried that but as soon as you select the pic it automatically imports into Kdenlive.

  • is there no way to select all pics and import/add them all at once ?!??

  • I used it a few times and it could not be easier. Kdenlive look a lot like windows movie maker in a good way!

Kdenlive need to be in the default install of Ubuntu that would save a lot of new Linux users grief.

  • Totally agree

  • thats a handy tutorial i might try that program out looks great i like the features and the ability to change the file output
