This was a really great concert! Richard Reed Perry - the key board dude. I'm really disappointed that Pitchfork was aloud to take footage but, students were not. This is poor quality. I hope it wasn't like a camera phone or something. Wow, the comments on this video are very ignorant. That is saddening because music like this is supposed to bring out the best in people. Like their intellectual feedback and above all else, happiness. Canterbury and Hillcrest are great places to go.

the pan at the end confirms it... they played in the cafeteria!? ohmygod what crappy accoustics. the ceiling is what maybe 9 feet high? this, in a school known for their music program, with an (accoustically) significantly better auditorium... the audio on the video stinks. Arcade Fire - great. highschool cafeteria ... 1/10

Richard Reed Parry went to Canterbury; they used to have talent show/coffeehouses in the cafeteria, so for sentimental reasons they chose to play there.

We still have coffee houses, and this was one of them. The reason they played the caf was because they wanted an intimate space, not a 600 seat theatre. The proceeds from the show went to the arts program at CHS, Richard Perry graduated from the Literary arts program.
