theres alot of comments that say hip hop died. If we learned anything from the music, it was that its always there. I mean this music was started by some b boys and MC's with nothing more than a turn table and a mic. Maybe its dead; but no one knows this music better than us. Lets resurrect it. if they did it, so can we.
never mind the tha dope production by a particular dope group from Philly but listen to wat these cats r saying on this slept on album. LIFE. Their talking bout Life. no matter how many women u claim to have or how many cars you own etc,etc u cant escape the trials of life.
@coldrockdaspot Compared to "J Beez Wit the Remedy", they definitely came back to Earth. There were some dope albums in 97' but I listened to "Raw Deluxe" the most. I think they could have done better on the production tho. I wonder why they never called up J Dilla to do a track?
I forgot how f-ed up this song was. Wow! Beat was great. Mike and Af's verses were dumb as hell. And then Sammy B spit his first verse ever??? Which was supposedly written by Black Thought? But is so bad? Wow. So weird.
@Fablus22 repent for my sins, because I dont want strife. Sick line! TCQ, Jungle Brothers, De La Soul were some of the deepest poets of all-time. Loved old school NAS and Rakim.
wow i used to love rocking this shit i just really couldnt explain
