  • viewiers like you didnt come in 1985

  • When did the WNED/GPN logo start / end being used in the funding credits, and does anybody have a good quality version of the logo anywhere?

  • The WNED/GPN logo was at the beginning of Reading Rainbow from 1988 until 1994.

  • I hate how they say "...viewers like you. Thank you" now, it sounds gay to me.

  • the animation looked like Muppet Babies.

  • I dunno why the CPB logo scared me as a kid, but I love it now! loool

  • This funding first aired in the summer of 1984, and ended in the summer of 1986.

  • I'll bet the closings sounded like this:

Girl: Reading Rainbow is made possible by grants from B. Dalton Bookseller, who urges children and parents everywhere to follow the reading rainbow. B. Dalton is commited to literacy and hopes at your house, reading is a family affair. The Corporation for Public

Broadcasting, this station and other public television stations, and the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation. PBS

  • I look at this and remember the things that I can never have again.

  • I wish these Reading Rainbow credits were on TV every day.

  • However, like Mister Rogers, the "This Public Telvision Station, and other Public Television Stations" was a way of saying Viewers like you back in the day.

  • This was long before Viewers like You debuted (1988).

  • I might have already said this, but the B. Dalton company is a part of Barnes & Noble.

  • For those of you who don't know, Barnes & Noble announced B. Dalton was going out of business, and it would close all 50 stores by January.

  • I think that's important to know.

  • What about viewers like me?! Where's my credit!!!

  • BunnySango; Viewers like you didn't come in until the 1990 season; see Synesthete78's video " Reading Rainbow funding Credits ( 1990)" Trust me
