  • using the markers on a pallate to mix is a cool Idea! If I ever buy some, I'd like to try that!

  • Can the colorless blender be used with watercolor pencils instead of water?

  • @vintage357 The colorless blender does not work in the same way as water and will give you completely different effect.

  • This is very helpful. Thank you very much

  • I love Blick!...this is my art suppliers. I would love to work for Blick, the best store ever!!!

  • I have recently ordered the fine line pens for some tattoo design illustrations I am working on,can you do a video on best practice for them ? Thanks.

  • @PurelyTruly Hi and thanks for the comment. We actually do have a video for the Prismacolor Premier Illustration Markers. Please go to "Markers" in our Playlist. I hope it helps.

  • @BlickVideos Hi,it's the fine line pens I am curious about.Couldn't see the fine line mentioned anywhere in your vids ??

  • "These stripes may be good for interior designers or... ... ... people that would want stripes."

    I like this lady.

  • damn that blender is magic

  • I'm looking for an exterior paint pen to letter signs for outside usage. Are these an option? Thank you!

  • @craftlover9 No, the markers in this video are not paint markers. It is best to contact our Product Information team who can help you find a product suitable for your project. You can email them at: info @ dickblick . com. Thanks.

  • @craftlover9 go to micheals and pick up some decos

  • Where do I get the blender? I have the 46 set but I can't find the blender...

  • @needmyfakemeds All the products in all our videos can be found at Blick Art Materials dickblick . com.

  • They look alright, however I think their pencils are better. The ink looks like its sits on top of the paper instead of soaks through. And they're streaky. I think copic are the best option.

  • @BlickVideos Huuum..I have a set of 48 prismascolor pencils, and I have a colorless marker . Does the blender marker work with prismacolorpencils?

  • @GeorgeSampsonLoveYou Yes - you can watch the demonstrator using the colorless blender with the Prismacolor pencils in our Prismacolor Pencil video

  • i love prismacolor!!!!

  • Nice nails.

  • thank you for the useful information

  • i have been using my blender sooooo wrong.lol

  • I'm using these and I didn't know you could use the blender like that, that's pretty helpful. From what I've researched copics seem to have more benefits though, even if they are more expensive. But until I can buy copics I think that prismas will definitely be good practice with markers for now.

  • @BlickVideos Oh OK thanks! So it's meant to also work with the illustration markers?

  • @FRB1420 It has the same formula as the Premier Art Markers but it can be used with other alcohol-based markers.

  • I just bought the set of 24 in the carrying case that came with 8 Premier Illustration Markers (chisel tip). I was using the blender marker and made the mistake of blending the ink of one of the Illustration markers, and now the ink won't come off the blender. I tried all the methods of cleaning the blender shown in this video, but there's still a streak of blue on it. It doesn't seem to be affecting the color of the blender, but I was just wondering if there was something I should do. Thanks!

  • @FRB1420 Actually it is normal that the blender tip may remain "stained" with color. As long as it goes back to clear on the paper, that is what is important. So it sounds like you cleaned the blender correctly!

  • 1 person still uses crayola :P

  • how do i know what colors are in the 2 or 48 packs i was thinking of getting individual ones but im spending more

  • i want the manga one :D

  • @Missycandygirl is manga the best paper to draw on for markers?

  • this is almost as relaxing as listening to bob ross paint

  • @xINVISIGOTHx Oh i know. Brain tingles!

  • did the pack came with the colorless blender??

  • omg thank you so much! =D i was always wondering how to get rid of those streaks when i colored large areas!

  • My uncle is a artists so he gave me over 400 of these markers( they are kinda old but they steal work like there new :) ). Thanks alot for this video, it gave me an idea of what I am doing.

  • I just bought the prismacolor pencils they are AMAZING!!!!!!! so I went back and

  • @TigerTwilight1 Thank you!

  • I found my reason to stock up in Colorless Markers now *U*...

  • i cant wait to get mine my friends say there nicer and cheaper then copics im getting mine tomarrow!!! :D

  • yes I agree with eCo - my Prisma's dried up within a few months and I barely used them - wished I would have went with Copics :(

  • I love Dick Blick! You guys are awesome with your wide selection of supplies! <3

  • Didn't know that the colorless blender can work like that, this is a very useful technique, thanks for the advise.

And nice illustrations you have there. ^_^

  • how do you make the line finer? what kind of paper should i use since I use printer paper to test it out and the color bleed a lot.

  • Mine started to fade after a weak, I wasn't happy... not happy at all

  • @gena some of mine did too, it might be because there storage wasnt very well before you buy them, cuz they dont know how, or care how they store them in alot of places

  • @gena just a tip i have: i found out sometimes when i put mine back in the box, the caps weren't on tight, so there was a little bit of space. make sure the cap is on tight and all the way

  • I want the 156 set, but these are so expensive!!!

  • I have a question >w<,

    I loved the first paper that you used, It works so fine with the Colorless Blender and looks very fine when you color with the markers, But I dont know what paper is o.O I have been triying a lot of papers and any seems to be like it -.-;;

Would you please tell me what type of paper is it?

  • @icami7 its tracing paper

  • i wish they were refillable, because that part could get pretty expensive considering i use markers allot.

  • wat do i do when da markers start to fade? my primas faded and i havent even had em for a month!

  • @eConradin It's important to snap the caps back on securely after you use the markers so they don't dry out. Since these markers aren't refillable, you will need to replace your markers once they are dry.

    Hope this helps.

  • wow this video helped a lot. thank you.
