I have recently ordered the fine line pens for some tattoo design illustrations I am working on,can you do a video on best practice for them ? Thanks.
@PurelyTruly Hi and thanks for the comment. We actually do have a video for the Prismacolor Premier Illustration Markers. Please go to "Markers" in our Playlist. I hope it helps.
@craftlover9 No, the markers in this video are not paint markers. It is best to contact our Product Information team who can help you find a product suitable for your project. You can email them at: info @ dickblick . com. Thanks.
They look alright, however I think their pencils are better. The ink looks like its sits on top of the paper instead of soaks through. And they're streaky. I think copic are the best option.
I'm using these and I didn't know you could use the blender like that, that's pretty helpful. From what I've researched copics seem to have more benefits though, even if they are more expensive. But until I can buy copics I think that prismas will definitely be good practice with markers for now.
I just bought the set of 24 in the carrying case that came with 8 Premier Illustration Markers (chisel tip). I was using the blender marker and made the mistake of blending the ink of one of the Illustration markers, and now the ink won't come off the blender. I tried all the methods of cleaning the blender shown in this video, but there's still a streak of blue on it. It doesn't seem to be affecting the color of the blender, but I was just wondering if there was something I should do. Thanks!
@FRB1420 Actually it is normal that the blender tip may remain "stained" with color. As long as it goes back to clear on the paper, that is what is important. So it sounds like you cleaned the blender correctly!
My uncle is a artists so he gave me over 400 of these markers( they are kinda old but they steal work like there new :) ). Thanks alot for this video, it gave me an idea of what I am doing.
@gena some of mine did too, it might be because there storage wasnt very well before you buy them, cuz they dont know how, or care how they store them in alot of places
@gena just a tip i have: i found out sometimes when i put mine back in the box, the caps weren't on tight, so there was a little bit of space. make sure the cap is on tight and all the way
I loved the first paper that you used, It works so fine with the Colorless Blender and looks very fine when you color with the markers, But I dont know what paper is o.O I have been triying a lot of papers and any seems to be like it -.-;;
Would you please tell me what type of paper is it?
@eConradin It's important to snap the caps back on securely after you use the markers so they don't dry out. Since these markers aren't refillable, you will need to replace your markers once they are dry.
using the markers on a pallate to mix is a cool Idea! If I ever buy some, I'd like to try that!

Can the colorless blender be used with watercolor pencils instead of water?
vintage357 3 weeks ago
@vintage357 The colorless blender does not work in the same way as water and will give you completely different effect.

@BlickVideos Oh OK thanks! So it's meant to also work with the illustration markers?
FRB1420 6 months ago
@FRB1420 It has the same formula as the Premier Art Markers but it can be used with other alcohol-based markers.
