  • PDIDDY`S acting in this movie was the worst that i`ve ever seen. I know your HIP, HOP career has stalled but please find anything else that has nothing to do with acting.

  • Pdiddy`s acting in this movie was awful, i mean the worst acting performance that i`ve ever witness, and for anyone to otherwise are completely ignorant.

  • diddy sucks he is lame

  • Sean Combs may be passionate but couldn't pull off the acting in this. I guess it helps to be a producer. Be passionate about taking an acting lesson or two.

  • when you felt the movie and went straight to your heart - its entirety, then it was indeed a good movie... all the actors were great and amazing...

  • P. Diddy is okay...Sidney Poitier was 100x better in the 1961 version of the film IMO.

  • In my opinion, I thought Sean Combs did a fine job with his performance. He just portrayed the character differently than most people expected.

I think everyone seems to mistakenly register that as "bad acting". I saw it as a very believable act.

  • I watched this bcuz Audra Mcdonald was in and she is always absolutly stunning

  • money can make anyone good at everything!

  • im watching this in school lol its great

  • Natrima316z. . . . . i would like to dissagree with what you said i read the book and watch the original series and the remake and i believe Sean Combs did a awsome job towards what he did...lets see you go on stage and act....

  • i so agree with you... I loved sean combs in the movie.... and to be honest he seemed to identify with the character even more than sidney portier... He really came off as the angry black man... i felt him in this movie. SEAN was the BOMB!

  • sean combs acting was disappointing in this re enactment of the movie

  • omg i love the book and the movie

  • I hate P. Diddy but I liked Sean Combs in this movie. He did a great job playing Walter Lee not that many people can do that job.

  • Mama in the book A Raisin in the Sunis a very positive and idealistic character because she always thinks that the good thing is going to happen when it is not. Her good qualities are is that she is a caring person and she cares about her family. She does stuff to raise themright such as Getting them to church every Sunday morning. She also has some bad

traits about her as well such as being ignorant and being really religious.

  • Wrong Chunkyb00ty, the original was a classic and Sean Shiddy Diddy Combs is an arrogant Prick and I do believe the orginal cast of the movie would be pissed, Why oh Why cant they just leave well enough alone!I think the celebs in the clip must have been paid well by Diddy's Publicity team to say the things they said.

  • hm it's kinda strange somehow... this was 2pacs first acting job as a teenager (13)... Travis from a raisin in the sun. And now Puffy acts in this movie...

  • FUCK DIDDY

  • F U

  • Puff Daddy, Please.

  • Well put together and appreciated! Check out my adaptation and let me know what yah think.

  • Snitch bitch!

  • Yall some haters diddy did hella good. he know wat he doin.this movie was bomb yall dont know talent read a book this is an all time CLASSIC

  • you could find more talent in my thumb than in this over-exposed jerks entire body. talk about LUCK! whew!!! he's had tons of it, because he sure doesn't have talent!

  • Okay, this play is something completely different in the hands of P Diddy, deep human longings and existential suffering is reduced to hyperconsumerist superficiality of mass-marketed hip-hop. Is this just another permutation of white capitalism's cooptation of the cultural landmarks of the oppressed?

  • Sean cannot act thank goodness for Audra, Phylicia, and Sanaa they SAVED this movie. Sean Combs is not an actor.

  • this jive creep is just lucky! he has no discernible talent, his looks are well below average, in fact he's rather homely, but he lucked up and made tons of money, the rest is history...only in america folks, only in america!

  • Shut your dumb hating ass up, Diddy was never homeless. Before he became a producer at Uptown Records, he was going to college at Howard.

  • i never said he was homeless. But he sure is talentless.never have i seen a person go so far on so little talent.Leave the classic alone! do something original! but this is todays world, superficial talent, after all, look at beyonce....talk about a no-talent! that chick leads the pack.

  • nigga can't act..soz bouts dat playa best be doing his thang liek rappering

  • A Raisin in the Sun... loved the movie! The cast did an amazing... moving... performance! Sean Combs... wow, I am so proud!

    Blessings,

    Yvonne

  • Can't say I like him for his music and rampant biting, but I saw an older version of Raisin in the Sun and it's definitely good. Hopefully this one lives up to it (I have yet to see it,lol). It's a really great story.
