how to mod the sims3 not using helper monkey

The reason why this didn't work was because you have to do everything in my documents. I tried the first time using this tutorial and it didn't work so I did some more research and I realised you had to repeat the following steps but in documents instead of on computer. So if this didn't work for you, try doing everything in documents. Works like magic.

OK i have a solution for all these people whos sims wont start. take the mods and recourse file off of the sims 3 and restart your computer. Then when you click on sims 3 it should load :)

I discovered how to do it!! its cuase I was doing it wrong from the start... people.. when you download it from peggyzone make sure you dont save or do anything in Documents... cuase thats wrong... and after that just follow what the vid tells you to do and WALLA!! you finishes :P trust me.. I thought I was doing it right till I saw this vid the 15th time :)

Ok... Get 7-zip for windows or Winrar for mac guys their free but are plain shit here just go to the simsresource qnd download everything their free just download as package usually only works if urs isn't steam or torrent but there's only hiat clothes objects furniture cars/bikes/motorcycles/coke truck makeups free sims and all no mods like nudity or elf ears mainly girl stuff tho... Hope I help more than this rtard

try it , it probably does, if not goto the website i gave ,in the more info part, click around the site to see if it has anything to help :). but you can't use sims3 mods only sims2 mods make sure you know.

i didn't use helper monkey i can't , just follow those steps exacly and it WILL work :)

those stack of books in the background is the file i downloaded of peggyzone on the internet i downloaded that mod .package file to show you what to do with it. i use winrar so thats why it came up with that symbol (books), depending on what you use to open compressed files the symbol will be different. if you are using a different operating system to windows7 im sure its simular.
