Nice flying Kirsty, yeah I to love scale normal flying because I've yet to see a real helicopter doing 3D. Could you imagine a rescue helicopter taking someone to the hospital and doing 3D on the way. lol I'd rather watch scale flight anytime. It's nice to see the helicopter and not be a constant blurr.

I don't doubt the advantage of flight sims... I bought one before I bought my first hobby grade heli thanks to the local hobby shop owner's advice. I don't think I'd be as good a pilot as I am right now if it weren't for my RealFlight G4.5. So... the Mini Titan; would you consider that to be a better beginner heli than say the Trex 450 Pro? Just curious after reading that the Mini Titan is better for beginning cp pilots on rcgroups.

@stot2614 The mini titan is a bit more sluggish & an ideal starters heli or intro heli to CP. It can also have the throws increased to make a great 450 size 3D ship.

Good flying M8, u look like me flying. I usually back up to land because i hover the best nose out. I can hover nose in ok, and side hovers a little better than nose in. I spend alot of time on realflight g5 and my nose in is getting better though. i remember by telling myself to push the stick in the same direction that the helicopter is moving.... it helps me. ps... EPIC trance song and its on oakies label, nice.

Nice Flying Kirsty,

Just one tip, always put a bend in your TX arial at the joint (point the short bit into the air slightly). That gives you better signal resolution and range than leaving it pointing straight out. I have lost a T-rex 450 and a EDF Mig due to signal loss on micro receivers. The guys at Horizon asked what I was doing with the TX. They seemed to think that was a factor.
