Can you tell me if that solidbody has a French Polish finish too? I'm considering French Polishing my highly figured Koa Tele, but I can't find anyone on utube that shows a solidbody being FP'd. I need to know if there's any downside to doing this on a Tele. I "hear" FP doesn't keep moisture out unless you taper off the polishing with Linseed oil. Any help on this would be appreciated.
Hi , Lovely Job your french polishing rocks !! if pic or nail scratches appear after a bit of playing how do you eliminate them and restore the polished surface ?
i have a guitar with no shine (factory reliced to look that way) and i want to give it just a tiny bit of shine so it looks like it had a shine but it's faded, any ideas what i should use?
I've got a friend who uses everclear to french polish. Apparently, to get any alcohol that has a higher concentration, he'd need a special permit. I guess you have to use whatever works, huh?

Are you using vodka on that guitar? Alcohol will dull it and dry it out. So what the hell are you using?
