Recent Trends show No Global Warming

LOL! the earths climate works in cycles, some longer than others. for example in the ice graph you sea a cycle of growth and melt. but if you zoom out (and you can blatently see this in the sea level graph) then you see the trends of global climate change.

1998-2008 or 2007 to present is not a great enough timescale to show these climate change effects, at these scales you will only see natural annual cycles. If anything it is handpicking of data, which is decieving people... for shame

You're probably in the Northeast somewhere. The North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) has been negative since early 2010, bringing cooler temperatures to the Northeast US. That's a local effect, the global temperatures were sharply up in 2010.

@terrymorse No I'm in Australia. Last year Australia, NZ, Argentina, Japan, UK, Europe, Brazil & Africa all recorded record cold temperatures. That's pretty much the whole world. Europe had a massive cold wave that caused the deaths of over 90 people. Argentina's cold snap was so bad they had to import fuel. Africa's cold snap caused much crop damage causing food prices to skyrocket. I highly doubt that global temperatures are up, considering all the evidence of temperature fixing I've seen.

This is also why a team of scientists and Australian citizens have lodged a formal request with the ANAO to have the BOM and CSIRO audited after raw figures were found to be adjusted by up to 40%. That is also why when comparing NASA's figures with the Hadley centre NASA's results are higher. Conspiracy theory? I don't deal in theories I deal in facts.

Even in your community they have now been forced to stop using the term "global warming" because it just isn't happening and instead are now calling it "climate change". Its 99 % natural. You have no effect on the climate.

The scam here is that they choose a time for the plot from 1998 (the strongest El Nino year ever recorded) to 2008 (one of th estrongest La Ninas recorded in recent years). So they star the graph at an artificial high point and end it at an artificially low point (and old trick). If they had extended the graph through 2010 the end you would see it shoot up again with 2009 as warm as 1998 and 2010 promising to be warmer. Cheap tricks like this undermine their whole case.

That sea rise graph is a bit deceptive. A better explanation would be that the rate of sea level rise is not increasing, as predicted. Sea levels, regardless of whether humans are here or not, would be rising every single year as we are still emerging from the last ice age. A detailed look at that graph shows this minimal rise each year, and there is no acceleration whatsoever. The assumptions made about sea level rise appears to be quite exaggerated based upon that adat.

But it is importent because it shows that models lack very important parameters.

Hi EasyEs, have a look at the recent work by Prof Richard Lindzen MIT (20 year ERBE experiment). He has shown why the IPCC predictive models are wrong. Its to do with IPCC models overestimating feedback factors, ie: CO2 warming effect being amplified too much by water vapour. Lindzen's experiment shows the error. AGW will soon be shown to be wrong I hope it can be corrected before we bankrupt ourselves solving a problem that does not exist.
