I love this song and while Urban Cowboy wasn't the greatest of movies I will always remember the dance scene to this song and the line in the movie "Daddy does oil and all that that implies". Boz Scaggs has such a distinctive pure voice, something that is sorely missed in today's music.

Boz had one of the most unique voices in the recording industry. Nobody else sounded anything like him. I love every song he ever sang, but this one is my favorite. I saw Urban Cowboy, but hated it. It made all Texans look like idiots and that pissed me off!

I wrote about this in other video postings of this song & mentioned that Urban Cowboy is just a small part of why it's a classic. Performing the song are the original members of the Eagles, Toto & Boz & was co-written by Boz and David Foster. David is considered one of the best lyricists ever in contemporary music. I believe this is a once in 50 year song. We may not see another like it for that long. Haven't seen one like it since. The song is just a legendary classic. Once in a lifetime.
