How funny that a year ago people were complaining about the ugly shape of the nails but now its "in"!

I am new to gel nails so mind if I ask some questions?

If I applied gel to my nails without a tip would it help re-enforce them and grow longer and can I simply fill in the gaps as my nail grows out without taking the gel off.

And if i can where just gel can I apply tips later.

Can you apply regular polish over gel nails?

And, how do you take the gel off? File or soak them?

Like for me, I want to use gel to have stronger natural nails and extend the life of polish. I might not create a point with tips but I'm cool with whoever does want to.

That is why we draw the low french line and it effects on fingers are long. In case when you want to make this shape & style with your real nail, you can do. But please consider that it is more effective when your real nail is long.

i think than the tip was a bit too small (not wide enough), the nail bed extension with pink gel should be done a differently for a natural look (more dramatic smile line in your case), and the nail was a bit too thick at the cuticle :)

Yeah, this kind of nude gel is applied far too long form where the nail leave the finger. camouflage gel shouldn't ne applied beyond the fingertip

People need to be more understanding about other cultures. Some cultures love the long pointed nail. It's beautiful work, even if it's not my personal preference of what I would like. I've done some nails that I wouldn't be caught dead wearing but the client wanted it and that's what I got paid to do...make THEM happy.
