  • hmmm I think capsule hotels are a good idea, but they are not that cheap... Actually, there are normal hotel rooms a lot cheaper than a capsule.

  • wait do you have to shower in front on girls

  • Truckguy60- Part 2

One option that might be worth considering though is train stations do offer large lockers big enough for luggage at very reasonable daily and weekly rates. If you would really like to stay at a capsule.

Also note that all capsules are different. There might be plenty out there that do offer luggage storage and I am just unaware of it. Since I am a woman not many capsule hotels will permit me to stay. So my experiences are extremely limited.

    I hope this has helped!

  • @MsTokyoRose All people above 60 should stay there for the rehearsal.

  • Truckguy60- By design they are not meant to accommodate luggage. However when I stayed in this capsule hotel people simply left their luggage outside of their capsule. It is extremely safe to do that because it is unlikely that anyone will try to steel your things. Lockers are offered but not big enough for luggage. Not even a carry on and it is also not likely that the staff will hold your things for you either.

  • I have been wondering about those capsule hotels. My question is: Do you have to fit your suitcase inside as well? It only looks big enough for a person. You'd be squashed if you had to fit yourself and your luggage in there. Do capsule hotels offer luggage lockers?

  • omg being claustrophobic is scares me just thinking about getting cramped in there

  • @Color0fSoul I'm claustrophobic too but actually it was extremely spacious. It feels more like a very small room than a box.

  • Wow those capsules are pretty big :O, the one I went to had more like the actually totally made of plastic kind and was about 40 cm high.

Did get free TV though :P plus gotto love eating a fried chicken menu at 3 AM made by the staff ^^

  • nice detailed video

  • sex would be horrible unless the guy stood outside the capsule and stuck his umm genitalia inside.

  • Oh well....At least they are clean and offer some sort of privacy

  • prinny- there is a a folding door and it has a lock on the inside so people can't peek in.

Xian- sorry this just the music that came with my video editor no really name to speak of

  • is there a door/cover for each capsule or do people peek in? O_O

  • @prinny081 There is a window shade that you can pull down, but there is no way to lock it.

  • liken the song XD can u give me the name?

  • Why is there a urinal on the wall in the women's restroom?

  • it seems really awful living inside

  • can i bring my girlfriend in ?

  • yes you can. She can stay on the girl's floor and you can stay on the men's floor. It would be really tight to fit two people into a a single capsule however.

  • wtf? thats like sleeping in a closet

  • hmm yeah sorta but if you aren't near home and you want a safe dry place to sleep it is nice!

  • I can't even fit in that thing. my feet would stick out. I guess its good for asians. they are tiny

  • then there recliner chairs down stairs that you can sleep in. ^_^

  • stupid question but is their an outlet to use flat iron?

  • yes but make sure you have the proper converter if needed. Japan uses the same electrical style outlets that the US does.

  • lol ew razors ..in a japanese hotel, yeah..nothanks.

  • Well good luck it is a very fun to make movies and animation. I have no such talents but many of my friends do and they say it is very stressful but very rewarding.

  • If you bring a laptop, is there any place to plug it in?

  • yes up by the tv was a plug in if you need to use or charge your laptop.

  • thank you! I'm a young anime artist/movie maker/ animator/photograper/editor/writer in training :D

im only 11 and i know more than my family *insert evil laugh here)

  • Your capsule you were in is a bigger one. So you pay $48.00 to see the TV for 2 days?

  • she's friggin nerd hot!!! I'd hit that

  • you're brave my friend.

  • 7FluxProductions: It was just a random song provided by the iMovie software

  • only in the capsule hotel ^_^

  • You PAY to watch TV in Japan?

  • whats the song i loved it

  • I agree with the comment below, very professional looking video. I think I will take a few pointers here. :) What video editor did you use?

  • nozokimidayo- thanks! I use iMovie.

  • Chandra- Thanks! It cost me 2400 yen to stay for one night or about 198,762.61 rupiah? Is that right? There isn't any luggage storage per say but there should be enough space in your capsule to store 1 reasonably sized piece of luggage.

  • Professionally done video, bravo. How much is the cost to stay per night?

Is there bag storage? Like for backpackers? I'm really thinking of going to Japan.

  • usually it is 1 to 1 $1.00 US is 100yen sometimes the yen is worth more then the dollar over the past year but it usually stays consistent

  • ratio

  • what is the ration from the yen to the dollar does any one know just wondering

  • they make you pay for everything that is why the initial cost of the capsule is so cheap. They get your for almost everything else. From the mandatory payed locker for your shoes to tv and bathing accessories. Unless you come prepared. ^_^ I agree you should only be in a capsule if you were out to late having too much fun!

  • I think tht is more of the point besides the tv is mainly for porn I think.

  • no... NO NO NO!!! that so wrong why would they make you pay for TV!? eh what ever its not like your going to stay all day watching TV you got to GO OUT AND HAVE A BLAST!!!
