  • I love the way Wong Kar Wai uses his "signature": waiting...pause.....focus...details...pause...done intelligently...it is the height of Hong kong cinematic arthouse! :) The resolutions/conclusions/refrains are always in the silence and not the words...nicely done!

  • no words to describe this beauty^^ my favourite shortfilm in "the Hire" .

  • Viewing this film all these years later showed me how great talent attracts each other, even in the "minor" roles. Both Forest Whitaker and Mickey Rourke both went on to great careers. And of course, love for Adriana Lima. I had never imagined that 10 years ago, Wong Kar Wai and Clive Owen teamed up with this great cast. I hope WKW gets to do more of these =)

  • Another reason to never buy into the hype of a car. I will never buy a BMW.

  • How much is BMW paying these schmucks?

  • She doesn't actually say "but my flight is delayed... very late", she says "I think the plane will be taking off at 3:30..."

  • forrest whittaker gets no credit?

  • 4.12-5.29!!!!!!!

  • There's always something waiting at the end of the road. If you're not willing to see what it is, you probably shouldn't be out there in the first place.

  • haven't watched this commercial for a while, and now watch it again. Still love it big time!

  • first FAVOURITE director.

  • every single shot of this film can make a perfect advertisement.

  • Clive Owen looks so young and cute in that film!

  • 2nd favorite director, only after Scorsese

  • It's very slick and in a very, very good way.

Not CSI Miami-slick, know what I mean?

  • poetry

  • Simply genius! like everything that he does! Wong Kar Wai is the greatest filmmaker of our time!

  • 1:18 is da best part...woohoo

  • at least someone cares about art and good movies, though the connection of short movies and german car builders is a bit awkward to me...

    great work

    greatest director

    even better than fellini

  • i love this song... dedicated to the person i loved the most in my life ;)

  • i've watched it 20 times...still memorizing and haunting!!

  • i watched it 5 times. still stunning

  • Why isn't Forest Whitaker in the ending credits? He's a big deal.

  • Wong Kar Wai's works are just hopeless romantics!!

  • What's the song's name?

  • The song's name is "Mi unicornio Azul" by Silvio Rodriguez.

  • @13WhiteFang37 "Unicornio " composed by Silvio Rodriguez

  • awesome! Lima and Owen directed by a master. Loved it

  • This is truly amazing. Incredible how a story can be told with so little dialogue.

    Superb filmmaking.

  • FANTASTIC!

  • amazing.

  • Najlepszy zamochód w Europie

  • BMW M5 najlepsze

  • Adriana Lima is so damn hot it's ridiculous.

  • 'whatever you do, dont get too close.' wkw film is all about distant

  • Well made but it would have been nice if something would have happened in this thing.

  • What happens to Adriana at the end? :-D

  • If I have to guess, she probably eventually escapes to Brazil, reunited with her mother..and becomes free from an abusive relationship. There was a big bruise on her eye. The character that Clive Owen played must have understood her situation, hence he decided to stop following her and quit the job.

    Beautiful song!

  • good sh*t

  • Is the frame change in 4:42 significant at all???

  • Awesome! Proud of you Wong Kar Wai. A Greeting from Hong Kong.

  • i love adriana limaa!

    :D

  • very melancholic..very wong kar wai..love love..

  • i like the end line that he sayed

  • did anyone knows wat is the song name?

  • it is "unicornio azul" by silvio rodriguez

i think it is guadalupe pineda the one who sings it

  • The name of the song is "Unicornio", performed by Cecilia Noel.

  • i love adriana lima

  • been watching this series since 2003. everytime i discover something new.mastercraftsman all, including the agency and the client.

  • beautiful

  • what is the of music played in this please

    help!!!

  • i dont get it

  • you should watch more wong kar wai movies so you'll understand this better :)

  • could you tell me some of hes movies please :) i really like hes style, kind of reminds me a of a more peaceful coen brothers...slow, still, but packed with meaning.

  • i recommend you watch chingking express and in the mood for love, arguably his most beautiful movies :) also see fallen angels..

  • it's chungking express, not chingking..hahaha!!so sorry :)

  • lool haha its ok dont worry...thank you very much for that list, its exciting to find new directors. i look forward to seeing them peace :) x

  • ashes of time redux is another great film by wong kar wai check it out.

  • definately see in the mood for love , as much a romantic movie , it really is a beautiful piece , chungking express aswell is good yet i would recommend fallen angels if u want a more masculine film. Just watch them all .

  • It's because u r dumb!

  • @mdoub lol. I'd say: much ado about nothing. The harder you ponder this piece of work, the more confusing it gets. Not sure what point WKW is trying to make - I'm thinking he's trying too hard...I wouldn't want to associate a car with some deep, philosofical view on life. Which makes this short rather funny.

  • BEST CAR

  • "WOW"

  • a masterpiece.
